As I told everyone before, this book is nearing its end, so updates will slow down accordingly during this period...
First, this is to better plan the ending of the final part. The brief outline for this book runs to over ten thousand words, all of it plot structure, but aside from the basic framework, I've revised it who knows how many times by now. After all, an outline pondered over for days or months certainly can't compare to the insights and accumulation of several years—especially those flashes of inspiration that suddenly spring forth. Diandian promised everyone there would be no abandoning it halfway and no rushed ending, so I will definitely do my utmost to write the ending well, just as I did with the previous book. My skill may perhaps fall short of expectations, but my attitude will absolutely not be perfunctory.
Besides bringing this book to a better close, there is also the matter of the next new book. Because of family circumstances, Diandian only started a new book two years after finishing the previous one, I Am King Zhou. I was already an unknown nobody to begin with; after that, my popularity was completely drained away. Many old readers didn't even know I had started a new book, so the beginning was extremely difficult.
For the next new book, I plan to upload it not long after the old one ends. That way, I can maintain continuity in both my writing and everyone's reading.
Compared to this Western fantasy novel wearing the skin of fantasy, the new book will be pure Eastern fantasy: a newly constructed world, brand-new plotlines. I want to write an Eastern fantasy novel with its own distinct character. The settings, plot, characters, and everything else all require a great deal of time
