The Star-Sealing Platform was a vast open space. Directly ahead stood a raised platform, somewhat like a public square's speaking podium—grand yet simple.

The Star-Sealing Platform's purpose was to bestow star ranks. Those granted a star-rank title could gain special attributes and traits. The power of a star rank's attributes, as well as the number of available slots, depended on the Extreme Star Emperor's rank. At Chen Rui's current Blue Star rank, there were three types of star ranks he could bestow: Star General, Star Attendant, and Star Disciple.

There was one Star General slot, two Star Attendant slots, and three Star Disciple slots.

Star General—Star-rank bonus: Strength S-. Trait "Army Breaker": increased damage, doubled destructive power.

Star Attendant—Star-rank bonus: Spirit A+. Trait "Focused Mind": faster spellcasting speed, faster spiritual power recovery.

Star Disciple—Star-rank bonus: Speed A. Trait "Thunder Dash": accelerated movement, accelerated attacks.

In other words, those who received a star-rank title could directly gain the corresponding attribute bonuses and traits. The recipient had to either be a contractor linked through a spiritual connection, or a fanatic believer whose faith had reached the required level. Furthermore, if the recipient's own abilities did not meet the star rank's minimum requirements, additional faith crystals had to be paid to complete the bestowal.

For example, Lola was currently a peak Devil Emperor. If she received the title of "Star Attendant," the A+ Spirit effect would stack on top of her original spiritual power—effectively S+ plus A+. For Lola, whose power had reached a bottleneck and could scarcely improve further, that additional
