All Set

While Jia was pacing by the little river in the western outskirts, waiting foolishly, Chen Rui had already followed Pagliu into the Red Fruit Inn. The Red Fruit Inn was one of Dark Moon's more upscale establishments. The last time Chen Rui had met with "Christina," it had been here as well.

The Red Fruit Inn was also one of the designated sellers of Princess Manor Dark Moon Branch's yellow wine. Its restaurant business alone was exceptionally booming.

What surprised Chen Rui was that Pagliu did not take him to the restaurant for drinks, but instead entered one of the guest rooms. The reason was simple: there were no seats left in the restaurant. That explanation was passable enough. In his previous life, when watching the World Cup, he had once rented a room with a few buddies to stay up all night watching the matches, and he still remembered that feeling. But this Poison Dragon was usually stingy to the bone—how could he possibly bear to rent a room and treat someone to drinks?

As Chen Rui was wondering, the door opened. It was actually a luxury suite. A huge spread of food and wine sat on the dining table in the living room... uh, empty plates that had once held food and wine. The person seated in the middle was burping.

"Oliphis!" Pagliu stared dumbfoundedly at the swept-clean table, the corner of his eye twitching uncontrollably. "Didn't I say to wait until we got back before serving the dishes?"

Oliphis blanked out for a moment, blinked, and looked at Pagliu. "What?"

"Quit this damned imitation act!" The Poison Dragon was so furious he nearly spewed dragon breath. He had come intending to tamper with the food and wine, but who would have thought Oliphis would have the dishes
