After setting up her temporary little home, Xue Xi changed into a loose, casual white shirt and tight jeans, which made her legs look even longer and more graceful. She put on a baseball cap and hummed a tune as she headed downstairs to the lobby.

Her three temporary companions had been waiting impatiently. As soon as Xue Xi came down, they hurried over to her. Qian Yun rubbed his bulging belly and said, "Before we take the three beauties shopping, could we find a restaurant and have a really good meal? We've been rushing to get here these past few days, and I've practically starved myself thin."

Xue Xi glanced at his belly, which was about the size of Zhu Bajie's, and thought, If I didn't have eyes, maybe I'd believe him.

To her surprise, Hu Sang and Ye Yunzi, the two girls with antennae, agreed as well, so Xue Xi had no choice but to go with them. What she'd wanted to say was that there were so many chefs present—if they offered a high enough price, someone might even show off their skills on the spot.

But since they'd already decided, they might as well go. Trying Baishao Star's local specialties sounded pretty good, too.

It seemed the chubby Qian Yun had already familiarized himself thoroughly with the area. He led the three women with practiced ease to a hole-in-the-wall eatery tucked away in a narrow alley. The sign read "Liu's Noodle Shop."

This was Xue Xi's first time seeing a noodle shop on another planet, and she walked into the steaming place full of anticipation.

The noodle shop was only a few hundred square meters, making it seem incredibly cramped beside the towering aliens. Most of the diners were people about the same height as Earthlings.
