The new tactical plan was ready, and it was nothing short of a guaranteed kill. Lin Mo would launch a frontal assault to draw fire while the elite strike team circled around and hit the Poison King where it was weakest. Everyone was raring to go, ready to give the cunning Poison King a brutal blow.

But on the morning they were set to act, the surveillance drone sent back footage that left them dumbfounded.

The Sand Scorpion Earth Dragon King wasn't basking at the cave entrance as usual, nor was it pacing irritably because of their constant harassment. It... it was moving house!

Its enormous body moved in and out of the largest Stone Cave, carefully carrying things with its massive pincers and tail. Among them were faintly glowing ores, as well as several milky-white eggs, each as large as a millstone and wrapped in soft sand!

One by one, it carried them into an inconspicuous side fissure deep inside the cave. The fissure seemed to lead to a deeper, more complex underground cavern system. Its movements looked a little clumsy due to its size, but it was remarkably swift and determined, without the slightest hesitation.

After moving the last of its "belongings," the Sand Scorpion Earth Dragon King unhesitatingly squeezed its heavily armored body into the fissure and disappeared into the darkness. Before leaving, it even swept up a great deal of sand and stone with its tail, cleverly disguising and blocking the fissure's entrance!

The whole process was efficient and calm, without a trace of reluctance.

When Lin Mo, Wang Keke, and the others arrived at their assigned positions, fully armed and ready to carry out their "feint and flank" tactic, all they found was an utterly empty main cave, seemingly abandoned, and footage from the drone
