As the teams prepared for the finals, Su Ming strengthened his allies, pursued Huo Wu, and helped Spirit Hall act against Tang Hao and corrupt officials. The arc ends with Spirit Hall’s Titled Douluo trapping Tang Hao while Su Ming and Dugu Bo brace for Yu Yuanzhen’s possible attack.

• Shui Bing'er and Xue Wu defeated Thunderclap Academy with Ice Snow Falling, while Su Ming protected his teammates from the cold.
• Su Ming advised Qian Renxue and Gui Mei on how to intercept Tang Hao, and Tang San secretly devoured Soul Masters to recover and advance to Soul King.
• Bibi Dong investigated Spirit Hall’s corrupt Gengxin City branch and ordered it purged, while Su Ming resolved to recruit Lou Gao and save him from his future fate.
• Tang Hao took Tang San to the Blue Silver Ancestral Land, but the Blue Silver King was absent and Tang San’s supposed hundred-thousand-year Soul Bone proved to be only a hundred years old.
• Su Ming defeated Feng Xiaotian and Huo Wu in separate fights, then began a relationship with Huo Wu as the teams set out for Spirit City.

Su Ming defeated Yu Yuanzhen, settled the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s affairs, and reached Spirit City with his companions. During the Grand Finals, he protected Zhu Zhuqing from Dai Mubai and helped her choose Gui Mei as her mentor before she set out to find a Fifth Soul Ring.

• Tang San used Titan to block Ling Yuan’s attack, then Yu Yuanzhen helped Tang Hao escape as Spirit Hall withdrew and demanded that Su Ming stay behind.
• Su Ming remained with Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, Ye Lingling, and Dugu Yan while Yu Luomian’s branch and Dugu Bo joined him against Yu Yuanzhen.
• Dugu Bo fought Yu Yuanzhen, and Su Ming saved him before killing Yu Yuanzhen with Divine Might: Shuriken and collapsing from depleted Spiritual Power.
• Su Ming kept Yu Yuanzhen’s treasures, gave Yu Luomian a Soul Bone to help him advance, and left the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s affairs to Yu Luomian and Liu Erlong.

Su Ming joined Spirit Hall and helped Zhu Zhuqing gain a powerful Soul Ring and Soul Bones, while his diary exposed how Tang San’s influence and Spirit Hall’s failures led to its downfall. Bibi Dong confronted those failures, Qian Renxue delayed her God Trial, and Spirit Hall launched a public campaign against Yu Xiaogang’s theories.

• Su Ming took Zhu Zhuqing to Death Valley, where Gui Mei accepted her as his disciple and helped her defeat a Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear for its ten-thousand-year Soul Ring.
• Zhu Zhuqing absorbed the bear’s Soul Ring and External Soul Bone, then traded her Shadow Demon Lizard left leg bone to Gui Mei as Su Ming promised him an immortal herb.
• Su Ming’s diary revealed how Hu Liena’s feelings for Tang San and her disclosure of Bibi Dong’s plans helped lead to Gui Mei and Ju Hua Guan’s deaths, leaving Hu Liena overwhelmed with guilt.
• Bibi Dong forgave Hu Liena but warned that the Asura God might have influenced her, then asked Qian Renxue to join Spirit Hall’s tournament team as a substitute.
• Qian Renxue told Qian Daoliu she would not begin the Angel God Trial if it required his sacrifice, and Bibi Dong persuaded him to wait while they sought another solution.

At the finals, Spirit Hall advanced automatically, and Su Ming’s team faced Tang San’s empowered Thunderclap Academy as their team battle began.

• Su Ming’s team defeated the Star Luo Team, and Zhu Zhuqing confronted Zhu Zhuyun about the assassination attempts before choosing to remain with Su Ming.
• Su Ming extracted Yu Xiaogang’s Golden Holy Dragon bloodline and gave it to Dugu Bo, who evolved his Martial Soul and reached peak level ninety-seven.
