For the first time in all his years in the police force, the chief fell into confusion...
"Where's the surveillance footage? Take me to see it!"
After turning to question the prison guard, the chief was promptly led to a room filled with screens. The surveillance staff pulled up footage of Ryunosuke's cell.
Though the footage on the grayish-white screen was far from clear, it was enough to make out all of Ryunosuke's actions.
As the footage progressed, the chief's expression grew increasingly grim.
"Stop!"
At the chief's urging, the staff member decisively hit the pause button. On the screen, Ryunosuke stood right before the door, one finger extended.
"Continue."
Ryunosuke in the footage began to "move" again.
Ryunosuke merely extended a single finger and lightly swiped it across the cell door. The door, which should have been incomparably sturdy, immediately collapsed with a thunderous crash, shattering into pieces across the floor!
Amid the billowing dust, Ryunosuke strolled out of the cell with relaxed steps.
As Ryunosuke left the cell, the footage came to an end.
Yet that inexplicable method of escape sent a chill down everyone's spine, and an absurd atmosphere silently rose within the surveillance room.

Unable to restrain it, laughter spilled from his throat. Beneath the moonlight, that intoxicated posture looked so bizarre and terrifying.

Incomprehensible words came from Ryunosuke's mouth, while an equally incomprehensible sight was reflected in his unusual eyes.
