"Mr. Kraft, I have a request." Kup followed Kraft as he toured the camp, now in complete disarray. He hesitated for a long time before finally making a request, quite out of character for him. "I want to study under you."
"Are you not already doing that?"

Knowing where bones were vulnerable could help you locate fractures, but it could also help you cause them. The power of knowledge was indeed considerable.
Kraft himself had given the best demonstration of this in the fight just now, with impressive results. For the first time, Kup realized that those seemingly distant, esoteric concepts had always been right there beside him, applied in a straightforward, down-to-earth way.
So medicine was actually this simple!
Kraft was glad to see Kup eager to improve himself and readily agreed.
"I'm glad you've made the right decision. You can never know too much, but we'll have to take it one step at a time. Start by adding the names of bones to the new vocabulary you need to learn."
"Thank you for your generosity." He could foresee that his workload would increase considerably, but Kup found that he wasn't quite so averse to studying dry texts anymore. He thought he could
