After climbing down from the carriage, the minor official hurried ahead to lead the way.

Zhao An guessed that it was most likely because of the battle before. The whole city had been thrown into turmoil, and the Black Wind Stronghold's surviving bandits had grown so bold they might even have attacked the County Magistrate's residence, wreaking havoc.
As they entered the residence and passed through a covered corridor, a group of armored officers suddenly came toward them. Every one of them was tall and imposing, striding like dragons and tigers, their armor clanking with every step.
The minor official leading the way hurriedly lowered his head and moved aside.
"Those are generals from Prefecture City, Martial Student Zhao. Don't block their way," the minor official reminded Zhao An.
Zhao An raised his brows, then moved as instructed and stepped to the side.
Though he had killed countless people, he wasn't actually an impulsive man.
There was no need to make an issue of it. If they wanted him to give way, he could simply do so.
The group of generals passed right by Zhao An. They didn't so much as spare him or the minor official a proper glance.
"Such deep, powerful auras, their blood and qi as vigorous as dragons and tigers. I'm afraid every one of them is no weaker than County Commandant He Zhang!" Zhao An silently
