Background / History
The Sky Azure Bull Python ruled the Star Dou Forest alongside the Titan Giant Ape, the Forest King. The two were inseparable, and their powerful inherited bloodlines made them substantially stronger than ordinary soul beasts of the same cultivation age. Fighting within their home territory further enhanced their combat power 1 6 10.
He lived within the Lake of Life, drawing on its abundant life energy. He and the Titan Giant Ape also restricted other forest soul beasts from devouring one another; Chu Feng believed that removing this restriction, together with sufficient life energy, would allow several beasts approaching 100,000 years to break through 10 11.
Before encountering Chu Feng, he had fought numerous powerful soul beasts and human opponents. His dealings with humans gave him enough knowledge to recognize the extraordinary significance of a roughly twenty-year-old Quasi-Title Douluo 12 15.
Appearance
- Build: An enormous bull-headed, serpent-bodied beast. The portion emerging from the lake alone stood about 100 meters tall; Chu Feng estimated that his full length could reach several hundred meters 11.
- Scales: Sky-blue, diamond-shaped scales with a metallic sheen and steel-like hardness 11 14.
- Horns: Massive, dragon-like horns, with two clusters of azure flames suspended above them 11.
- Eyes: Lantern-sized eyes that glow with azure light; cyan flames flicker within them when he becomes enraged 11 13.
- Lightning: Azure lightning courses across his scales during defensive reinforcement and branches outward from his horns during wide-area attacks 15 16.
Personality
Initially composed and pragmatic, the Sky Azure Bull Python recognized that Chu Feng’s party had come to hunt him but repeatedly offered them an opportunity to withdraw. This restraint came from caution rather than benevolence: Chu Feng’s talent and ability to command two level-95 Title Douluos suggested powerful backing and the potential to become a god 11 12 14.
He was proud of his authority as Forest Emperor and dismissed Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo as insignificant individual threats. Nevertheless, he reassessed Chu Feng as the battle developed, abandoning his restraint once the human matched his physical strength. The loss of a golden kidney provoked especially intense rage and an uncompromising determination to kill his attacker 12 16 17.
Abilities & Skills
Azure Dragon Bloodline
His trace of Azure Dragon ancestry underpinned his exceptional strength and position as Forest Emperor 12.
- Normal combat power: Assessed as at least comparable to a level-98 Super Douluo, with Golden Crocodile Douluo used as a benchmark 14 15.
- Desperate burst: Could briefly reach Limit Douluo-level power by burning his bloodline and life force 14 15.
- Dragon pressure: Releases dragon might capable of heavily pressuring Title Douluos 12.
- Limitation: The true dragon might produced by Chu Feng’s Spear Out Like a Dragon frightened his bloodline and delayed his reaction 16.
Sluggish Domain
An innate, rule-based domain manifested through a golden force field 17.
- Covers the entire Lake of Life.
- Slows attacks and movement within its range.
- Works alongside the Titan Giant Ape’s Gravity Domain, whose increased gravity further restricts enemy mobility 17.
Azure Divine Lightning
Lightning serves both as defensive reinforcement and an offensive countermeasure 15 16.
- Draws azure lightning from the Lake of Life into his body to strengthen every scale.
- Uses the glow on his scales to weaken incoming attack momentum.
- Can conduct lightning along an attacker’s weapon and into their body.
- Releases a branching, 360-degree lightning attack that forced the concealed Chu Feng to reveal himself 15 16.
Physical Strength and Defense
His enormous body combines powerful melee attacks with unusually resilient natural armor 14 17.
- Chu Feng’s probing spear thrust left only a shallow mark on one scale.
- His tail delivers mountain-splitting force and shattered Chu Feng’s manifested black dragon.
- His bite was described as powerful enough to tear Chu Feng apart.
- His raw strength is inferior to the Titan Giant Ape’s, despite remaining formidable 14 16 17.
Life-Energy Recovery
He draws life energy from the Lake of Life to support himself during combat 13 16.
- Gathers the lake’s life energy into a vortex around his body.
- Rapidly repairs wounded flesh after Chu Feng tears away part of his side and a golden kidney.
- His aura and power doubled during the ensuing rage; this was a temporary combat surge, not a documented cultivation breakthrough 13 16.
Perception and Roar
His territorial awareness and bovine roar provide detection and ranged pressure 11 13.
- Detected Chu Feng’s party before they released their auras.
- Identified Chu Feng as the group’s leader and judged his cultivation level.
- A roar made the earth tremble and drew the attention of powerful nearby soul beasts.
- Even a roar delivered without full strength could severely injure an ordinary Title Douluo.
- Neither sight nor spiritual perception could track Chu Feng while he concealed his aura and used his movement technique 11 13 15.
Relationships
- Titan Giant Ape / Er Ming — Inseparable companion and fellow forest ruler. He obeyed the python’s signals to hold back, coordinated domains with him, and mourned his death before fleeing Chu Feng 1 12 14 17 18.
- Chu Feng — Hunter and eventual killer. The python first sought a peaceful withdrawal, then fought him after he demanded his spirit ring and soul bone 11 12 18.
- Bibi Dong — Intended hunter, not an ally. She reserved him for her second martial soul and secretly watched the battle, hoping to exploit it to kill Chu Feng and obtain the python’s ring and bone 2 6 13.
- Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo — Members of Chu Feng’s hunting party. Their principal countermeasure was the Polar Static Domain, capable of eight seconds of forced control 1 10.

Spirit Ring and Soul Bone
| Remnant | Properties |

| Right arm spirit bone | A cyan-colored bone taken by Chu Feng from the lake 19. |
| Life-force enrichment | Both remnants acquire a trace of life force from the Gold of Life beneath the lake 19. |

- No surviving soul remains within the ring: Chu Feng’s killing strike annihilated both body and soul 19.
