Yan recruited the Breaking Clan and Lou Gao’s blacksmiths, then defeated the Snow Empress and Ice Empress before heading into the West Sea to claim the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King’s Soul Ring. After Poseidon began attacking through Bo Saixi, Yan fled across the sea, with Poseidon trying to crush him before he reached shore.

• Yan recruited Yang Wudi and the Breaking Clan by offering them revenge against Spirit Hall and a place in his new order.
• Yan persuaded Lou Gao to join him with a team of blacksmiths, and they traveled with the Breaking Clan to establish themselves in Extreme Ice City.
• Yan defeated Snow Empress and Ice Empress, spared them, and ordered them to supply Extreme Ice City and protect its Cold Jade miners.
• Yan reached level eighty, traveled to the West Sea, and killed the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King after a prolonged battle.

Yan survived Poseidon’s assault, reached Universe Level after absorbing the Fire Dragon King’s power, and prepared his followers as war spread across the continent. After Tang San discovered that Yan had killed Tang Hao and Ah Yin, Bibi Dong summoned Yan to help break the war’s deadlock.

• Yan fought Poseidon at sea, broke free of Unfixed Storm, and survived the Sea God Trident’s attack, then returned to Vast Sea City to recover.
• Yan learned of Spirit Hall’s attacks on the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan before returning to Extreme Ice City.
• After three years of recovery and training, Yan went to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, killed Tang Hao and Ah Yin, and absorbed the Fire Dragon King’s Divine Level Soul Ring and Soul Bone.
• Yan absorbed the Fire Dragon King’s remaining power and amplified it with immortal herbs and the Snowy Swan Kiss, advancing to Universe Level before leaving the valley.
• Spirit Hall established its empire as Tang San returned from Sea God Island, killed Spirit Hall forces, and later reached Title Douluo after the Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape sacrificed themselves.
