Theus had already run quite a few tests here today, mainly because Monica had spurred him on.
If machines could be infused with souls, then perhaps souls could be stuffed into his vessels as well. If he did not study this in advance, he might suffer for it someday.
So he had made a list beforehand, writing down every test method he could think of, then returned to the Golden Throne to test them one by one.
For instance, he was now preparing to try Mind Link.
He had just tested the Symbiotic Pact, and the conclusion was that it could not be brought here. This was easy to test, since every Banshee had signed a Symbiotic Pact with him. In theory, he was the hub of the pact; without him, life force could not circulate through the Banshees.
