This was the future site of the shipyard. Everything was still waiting to be built, and the shipyard itself was naturally nowhere near taking shape.

Though the shipyard had yet to be built, a ship had already arrived.

Theus stroked his chin as he looked at the ship the Banshees had towed back, then turned to Richard. "How is it? Have you inspected it?"

"The hull is mostly intact. The lower deck still needs some work, but after modifications, it should basically be usable... By usable, I mean ordinary sailing. Since we currently have no experience modifying ships, please do not hold overly high expectations."

"No problem. Let's give it a try."

Knowledge of how to modify a half-built sailing ship into a Steam Engine-powered vessel was far too niche. Even Theus had never studied it and could only figure it out as they went.

Fortunately, ships were not such delicate things—at least, not the kind Theus intended to build.

He had even prepared himself for the possibility that, if they truly could not find a single ship, they would simply try building one directly out of steel.
