Absurd. Utterly absurd.
Yet this absurd design had been conceived entirely out of practical considerations. Whether it was the ram, the catapults, or the flight deck, each was currently the optimal solution for naval warfare. But put together, they became this bizarre monstrosity.
Ken did not feel much about it, but Theus, a transmigrator who had seen proper warships, was utterly appalled.
Wait!
Theus suddenly felt that something was off.
It could dock airships on board?
An aircraft carrier was a perfectly normal design, because airplanes were only so large. But airships were enormous—how could they possibly fit on a deck?
Theus hurriedly grabbed the blueprint and widened his eyes as he checked the dimensions.
"One hundred and fifty meters wide?!"
"One thousand one hundred meters long?!"
Theus went completely numb.
He did not know much about shipbuilding, but he was hardly completely ignorant.
For example, Blue Star's largest aircraft carrier, the Ford-class (CVN-78), was an astonishing 337 meters long and 41 meters wide, already the largest in history.
Even accounting for its flight deck, it was still no more than a kitten compared to the vessel before him.
Civilian ships could be larger, of course. Container ships could exceed four hundred meters in length, but one thousand one hundred meters...
As an aside, a fully staffed Ford-class carrier held five thousand people. With the dimensions of Ken's ship, it could easily pack up everyone in Castel and take them away.
Good lord, was this a floating fortress or what?
Theus was so irritated that he laughed. They really dared to imagine something like this.
Theus suddenly sensed something else was wrong. He studied the blueprint more closely, and the corner of his mouth twitched.
"You know how large this ship is, right?"
Ken nodded frantically.
"Then what exactly are
