"Gwen, don't be rash! Everyone's lives are in your hands—use your head and think this through!" Taking a deep breath, Gwen slowly closed her eyes and began analyzing the situation.
Isaac had run into trouble in Grey Bear Town. That could only have come from a Transcendence opponent—Transcendence beings found it difficult to deal with an organized army!
Isaac had taught her that. Transcendence beings of almost any path could not confront an army head-on.
There was only one exception to that "almost": the immortal Burier. And what they relied on was not overwhelming strength, but merely their ability to endure.
At the moment, Gwen had over a hundred members of the Resistance Army under her command. If they charged into town and caught the enemy off guard, they still had a good chance of winning.

Opportunities vanished in an instant. Once the Winter Wolves realized something was wrong and organized themselves to defend the town, the Resistance Army would be finished!
Then they would have no choice but to confront prepared Winter Wolves on the plains, falling into a complete disadvantage.
Having figured it out, Gwen no longer hesitated. She climbed onto her horse in a few swift movements, drew the longsword at her waist, and shouted, "Soldiers!"
The assembled Resistance Army had already guessed what came next, and their eyes brimmed with anticipation.
"Those wolf pups drink our blood! They eat our flesh!
