"How did it go?" Theus asked with a grim expression.
"We tested coyotes, rabbits, sharks, snakes, and horse-faced fish. All of them mutated." Nini flipped through the notebook in her hands. "We didn't have many experimental animals prepared, so that's all for now. We'll catch some birds and insects later and see what happens then."
Theus stared at the coyote before him, which was a full size larger than a horse, his dark-circled face solemn.
