Isaac looked rather disheveled. Several large holes had been torn in his clothes. There was no blood visible on him, but his face was extremely pale.
"While the Resistance Army was fighting the enemy, the Candlelight Society's [Investigators] charged in as well. Granny and I fought them."
"Is Granny all right?" Gwen asked nervously.
"She suffered some injuries, but it's nothing serious. As long as [Nymphs] aren't dead, it's nothing serious. We have no weaknesses."

Most crucially, if the Expeditionary Force had not appeared, the Resistance Army might never have known how they had been destroyed in the end. Someone had successfully borrowed the Candlelight Society's knife to kill them.

"But I do have one suspect."
He ground his teeth and forced out a name through the gaps between them. "Lina, that traitor!"
The news that the Resistance Army had been found was immediately sent back to the Expeditionary Force's temporary
