Gwen truly had no idea how a ship was supposed to sail. Excitedly, she touched the tiller, then rushed to the rail to look at the rotating paddle wheel.

Only up close could one see that the steel paddle wheel was not actually rotating. Rather, the steel was constantly writhing, with some parts protruding and others sinking in.

It was like a scrolling sign made up of countless individual light bulbs. Each bulb merely turned on and off, but arranged together, they formed an image.

The steel kept writhing into different shapes, making it look as though the paddle wheel were rotating.

Gwen did not find anything strange about it at all. She merely widened her eyes. "That's amazing!"

She spread her arms and fell straight forward, slapping onto the deck as though embracing the ship. "Friends, you're amazing!"

The thick, cold, hard rusted deck, covered in sharp protrusions, did not hurt her. Instead, it slowly sank inward, seemingly responding to her embrace.

She rubbed herself against the deck, then turned to Nora.

"Lady Nora, it actually worked! This ship can really move—it's amazing!"

"No, I think you're more amazing."

"How could that be, Lady Nora? I don't know anything about sailing. It's the one driving."

Nora looked at the steel sail beside them, which was laboriously bending itself to pretend it was filled with wind, and the corner of her eye twitched.

"I don't think it knows how to sail either..."

After saying that, Nora's expression turned serious. She solemnly said to Gwen, "Gwen, I am certain that your will has overridden reality. This will trigger a descent of divinity... um, it's called Cognitive Interference here. In any case, hide as quickly as possible. Pollution will descend soon."

"Cog-Cognitive Interference?"

"Yes. This is forbidden knowledge in the Silent Temple.
