The Banshees stepped back, making room for her. This Banshee stood there somewhat timidly.
"My lord, I'm Una."
Theus frowned and thought back. He seemed to remember her from the first occurrence of Cognitive Interference a few days ago.

"During the Cognitive Interference, I was struck by the Pollution. I struggled inside it for a long time before getting out, and even then, I felt that this Pollution was strange."
"Strange?"
"Yes. It seemed a little different from the Pollution in the deep sea. It was like... they looked very similar, but they weren't actually the same thing."
"Like... salt and sugar. They're both seasonings, but they're completely different."
Theus drew a breath. "Why didn't you report this?"
Una shook her head. "I... wasn't really sure. They looked far too similar. They were both black worms, and their reactions to the outside world were no different. I thought it was simply because one was in the sea before, while the other was on land now..."
Theus understood what she meant. Una's subjective perception of them had indeed
