Though she was young, she had plenty of experience... by experience, she meant having read many of Nini's books.
Nini's books had similar plots. Later on, it would turn out that [Father] was the villain, or Bruno was the villain, something like that. In any case, this sounded far too much like something a villain would say.
How she listened to it, it sounded like Lina had been deceived.
"You believed him just because he said so?"
"I didn't at first, but I really did recall some things... At the very least, I have some memories about [Father]. I remember [Father] giving the [Named Ones] orders, commanding us to slaughter and destroy..."

Lina shook her head. "You don't know what [Father] means to me."
"Fine, fine. And you don't know what [Father] means to me. Ever since I used that ritual to connect with Theus and called him [Father] in front of all the banshees, the entirety of Blood Port thinks I'm his illegitimate daughter."

"You remember [Father] creating all of you. Was the part about destroying the world from your memories too?"
"Oh, no. Lord Bruno deduced that."
"Could it be... that your Lord Bruno deduced it wrong?"
