Elsewhere, Magic Martial University finally enjoyed some long-awaited peace after seeing off the exchange delegation. Outside, however, much was changing. As the Ministry of Education began distributing resources, regions everywhere accelerated their growth, with Magic Martial University standing out the most. The university alone now had eight grandmasters, including the powerful Wu Kuishan and Lu Hao, who was breaking through to Rank Eight.
On March 15, the Ministry of Education updated the Grandmaster Ranking. This update brought considerable changes. With resources pouring in, new grandmasters had emerged across the country, substantially increasing their total number.
At Magic Martial University, Lu Hao remained first among Rank Seven martial artists, but everyone knew he was advancing to Rank Eight and could emerge from seclusion at any moment. Among the Rank Eight martial artists, Wu Kuishan had used his divine weapon in the Magic City Abyss, revealing his peak Rank Eight strength. He was also closing the circuit required to advance to Rank 9. His ranking instantly leaped from 129th into the top ten: second in the Hua Nation and sixth worldwide. As for their other Rank Eight martial artist, Li Changsheng, mastering the Brain Core Localization Method was not something he could accomplish overnight, even after learning it. With his divine weapon factored in, he had only moved up a place or two. Someone else on the Rank Eight list had enjoyed a far more glorious rise: Chen Yaoting had broken through to Rank Eight and, with the power of his divine weapon, instantly slain two Rank Seven Earth Cave martial artists. The university's other grandmasters had also risen in the rankings, mainly because they all possessed divine weapons supplied by Lu Hao. Those weapons increased their combat strength by considerably more than ten percent.
