A few grandmasters remained airborne above the surrounding peaks, guarding every direction.
As several rank nine grandmasters took divine weapons out of their three-focus gates, Lu Hao brought out the Godslayer Blade as well, making sure not to stand out. After all, if he wanted to kill someone with one strike, he would have to make it look as though he had put everything into that blow.
All the martial artists brought out their divine weapons. Few of the rank seven and eight martial artists had one, however, since divine weapons were difficult to obtain. By contrast, everyone on the Star Town City team carried one. That was hardly surprising. With so many Absolute Peak patriarchs in Star Town City, killing a demonic beast or two now and then was enough to supply them.
