When the ten-year pact ended, Prince Yan faced the Seven Luminaries Demonic Emperor, but Kunyi’s arrival left the fight at its most dangerous point.

• The four Imperial Dao emperors attacked the Heavenly Demon succession, and Xuan Que’s body exploded as Ning Chen entered the Ancestral Land and broke the seal protecting the Phoenix fortune.
• Yin'er and her allies wounded the Scale King, while Ning Chen restored his phoenix flames and left for the Outer Heavens as the Scaly King’s death shattered the ancient seal.
• Peacock arrived at Ning Chen’s command post, and Ning Chen gathered the Ten Yama Kings and began a decade of training to prepare humanity for war.
• Prince Yan guarded the passage for ten years, while Xia Yan, Zhao Liusu, Hua Zhongdie, and Venerable Lady faced deadly battles against the demons elsewhere.
• Kunyi explored the Reincarnation Sea and found a dangerous route toward the Outer Heavens, while human experts completed their cultivation and prepared for the pact’s end.

• Prince Yan fought Seven Luminaries Demonic Emperor and used the Immortal Sword Prelude to destroy the Seven Demons and tear apart half the emperor’s body.

Ning Chen revived Prince Yan, rallied the human forces, and fought to strengthen humanity as the hundred clans invaded. After defeating the Ghost King and securing the Ghost Clan’s surrender, he led its people through a Heavenly Demon ambush while Peacock took the wounded Young Master Xiaobai to her Imperial Dao master.

• Prince Yan wounded Kunyi with his final sword, and Ning Chen sacrificed his life to revive him before his Demonic Body rescued him and led the human forces toward war.
• Ning Chen and the human armies struck back against the invading hundred clans as Young Master Xiaobai killed Ditian and later defeated Schuster, revealing his Dragon Clan power.
• Ning Chen found the imprisoned Black Phoenix, accepted half of her Imperial Dao Origin, and helped awaken Yin’er’s Phoenix Body by separating her heavenly soul from it.
• Ning Chen fought Asura and escaped, while Xuanqi and Xuanlie pursued Young Master Xiaobai until the Night Lord and the Profound Realm Lords rescued him.
• Ning Chen defeated the Ghost King in their wager, won the Ghost Clan’s allegiance, and arranged for the Underworld leaders to escort the clan from the occupied Red Luan Starfield.

As the Hundred Races launched an extermination campaign against humanity, Ning Chen fought to defend the human worlds and arranged a five-match King Realm Debate against the Primeval Demonic Realm. The first four bouts left the sides tied, and Ning Chen and Xuanlie survived the deciding palm battle’s destruction of the Thunder Realm.

• Ning Chen brought the Ghost Clan to the Underworld, then declared he would fight against Heaven as the Hundred Races began their campaign against humanity.
• Ning Chen defeated Luojia in the Buddhist Kingdom, but collapsed from his injuries as Mu Chengxue carried him away and fought off their pursuers.
• Mu Chengxue released her Forbidden Essence, killed Mahoraga, and became the Supreme One, while Underworld King Yama confronted her with Yandi and the Taishang Divine Sword.
• Mu Changge sacrificed himself to wound the Scaly Emperor, and Ning Chen later arranged a five-match King Realm Debate to decide the fate of contested starfields.
• The Night Lord defeated Garuda in the halberd bout, but Xuanqi beat Xia Ziyi in the sword match, leaving the debate tied after two bouts.
• Demonic Emperor Kunyi changed the battlefield to empower Asura, and Ning Chen conceded the spear bout after Kunyi secretly drew dark aura into the Moonlit Tower Master.
• Hua Zhongdie defeated Xuan Mo in the blade bout, tying the score at two victories apiece and setting up Ning Chen’s palm duel with Xuanlie.
• Ning Chen and Xuanlie fought with their ultimate techniques until their collision destroyed the Thunder Realm, and both emerged alive and bloodied.

Ning Chen defeated Xuanlie, fought his way through the Primeval Demonic Realm, and broke into the Imperial Dao while battling Xuanqi and the realm’s emperors. After escaping back to the underworld, he led its kings against a God and Devil in a collapsing world, then returned unsettled and sought Qing Ling.

• Ning Chen destroyed Xuanlie’s cultivation in their duel, then later raided Xuanlie’s estate, killed him, and took his Wind-Forest Secret Art.
• Ning Chen rescued A'man from Xing Jiang’s forbidden land, then used the Divine Demon Heart’s vitality to restore his true body while his incarnations faced the Immortal Gate tribulation.
• Ning Chen challenged the Seven Luminaries Demonic Emperor with the strength of a thousand demons, wounded him, and escaped after the Scaly Emperor helped turn the fight against him.
• The Dark Moon Witch Queen and Little Gourd helped Ning Chen recover, but he continued east and fought Xuanqi, with both entering the Imperial Dao as their tribulations fused and the Ghost Sword shattered.
