After the Heavenly Pillar fell, Ning Chen confronted the spreading Darkness Power and worked to restore the Immortal Realm as the war against darkness escalated. The arc ended with Hua Zhongdie sacrificing herself to stop Zhutian while Ning Chen remained inside the Azure Coffin World.

• Heaven of No Desire destroyed the Heavenly Pillar, sinking the realms, and Ning Chen learned that Chaos Earth, Chaos Fire, Chaos Water, and Chaos Wood could repair it.
• Darkness engulfed the realms, corrupted the Water Cloud Empress, and eventually defeated Ning Chen, who was captured and taken to the Underworld Prison.
• Ning Chen escaped the World of Darkness with Hua Zhongdie’s help, and she and A'man defeated a merged expert of Darkness as they moved the Northern Immortal Realm to safety.
• Ning Chen reunited the shattered Immortal lands, restored their life with Little Gourd’s blood, and called on the Four Symbols Divine Beings to complete its laws.

• Zhutian overpowered A'man and Hua Zhongdie, but Hua Zhongdie sent A'man to safety, entered Dao Transformation, and forced Zhutian to retreat before vanishing into starlight and leaving black butterflies to obstruct him.

Ning Chen and his successors fought the Lord of Darkness as the human world faced ruin, while Zhìming returned through reincarnation and gave his life to wound the enemy. Qing Ling and Yin'er searched for Ning Chen before finding Ning Fan living as an ordinary soldier in Yan, as a new war began and a peerless swordsman appeared at the Summit of All Heavens.

• The Immortal Venerable created the Immortal Realm, guided humanity’s rise, and later used the Immortal Peach Tree’s fruit in an attempt to revive the woman in the Azure Coffin.
• The Lord of Darkness attacked the Immortal Realm, and Xia Ziyi drew on the Underworld King’s power to force him to retreat before Ning Chen prepared to face him alone.
• Ning Chen entered the Dao through his sword and mortally wounded the Lord of Darkness, but he died as the second Heavenly Pillar fell and the end of days began.
• Qing Ling burned through her borrowed power to fight the Lord of Darkness, while Mu Chengxue pursued him into the Dark Abyss and a pale woman appeared above the stars.
• After years of resistance, the Phoenix City Sword God returned and revealed himself as Zhìming, then shattered the Lord of Darkness’s Origin Pearl before dying.
• The Plague God stole the Lord of Darkness’s origin, but the enemy escaped, and Qing Ling and Yin'er returned to the human world with the surviving Heavenly Venerates.
• Qing Ling and Yin'er searched for Ning Chen for more than twenty years while Ning Fan was conscripted into Yan’s army and fought alongside Zhu Ye against Wu’s invasion.
• Qing Ling and Yin'er recognized Yue Ling’s resemblance to Fan Lingyue and found Ning Fan in the Yan camp, but Qing Ling stopped Yin'er from disturbing his ordinary life as a peerless swordsman arrived at the Summit of All Heavens.

Ning Chen and the human realm’s allies defeat the Lord of Darkness, restore the damaged realm, and enter Heaven Beyond Heaven to confront the Great Dao Saints. After killing Clearwater Saint and battling Firmament Saint, Ning Chen vows to grow strong enough to defeat all the All-Heavens Saints.

• Prince Yan fought the Nether King with the King Swords and died as his sword intent shattered the Great Dao, while Ning Fan completed his mortal journey and advanced through the martial realms.
• Ning Fan, Yue Ling, and the human realm’s Venerables fought the Plague God, but Zhu Ye absorbed his darkness, killed him, and became the new Lord of Darkness.
• Fan Lingyue returned as the Lord of Darkness overwhelmed the human realm, and Ning Chen awakened, joined her in battle, and cracked the Lord’s dark origin before Creation Saints intervened.
• Ning Chen and Fan Lingyue gathered Chaos materials, repaired the Heavenly Pillar and the Mark of Heaven, and restored the human realm before entering Heaven Beyond Heaven with Qing Ling.
• Ning Chen fought Clearwater Saint while Fan Lingyue studied the Underworld King’s past, then learned that a Saint could be killed by destroying his Bridge of Great Dao and cleaved Clearwater Saint’s bridge apart.
• Ning Chen killed Clearwater Saint and preserved his collapsing bridge with Fan Lingyue’s help, then recovered before challenging Firmament Saint.
• Ning Chen wounded Firmament Saint and cracked his bridge, but Fan Lingyue persuaded the Saint to stop fighting, and Ning Chen vowed to keep cultivating until he could defeat all the All-Heavens Saints.

Ning Chen defeated the Saints, rescued Guigui, and uncovered the ancient origins of the Great Dao while searching the Time Divine Restriction. After returning to the Immortal Domain, he took Guigui to Great Xia and began a quieter life near Changsun’s grave as the Martial Marquises sought his guidance.

• Ning Chen broke through into the Creation Realm, killed the Saints who attacked him, and spent the following centuries hunting Great Dao Saints across the heavens.
• Ning Chen found Ming Ming in the Netherworld, learned that Guigui was their child, and rescued them from the God of All Gods and Yin Feihua.
• Ning Chen stayed with Guigui while Ming Ming recovered, then entered the Time Divine Restriction and witnessed the Nether King and the gods create the Great Dao.
• Ning Chen returned to the Immortal Domain and told Fan Lingyue that the Underworld King and the gods had created the Great Dao, though the Underworld King might still exist.
• Ning Chen took Guigui to the mortal world and returned to Great Xia, where he visited Changsun’s grave and built a wooden house in Ten-Mile Maple Forest.
• Marquis Kaixuan recognized Ning Chen as the Marquis of Knowing Fate, and Blood-clothed Marquis asked him to guide the Martial Marquises before Ning Chen left with Guigui.
