As the rising sun climbed into the sky, the gates of the First Prince's Manor in the east of Three Imperial Cities stood wide open as always, welcoming guests.
In the distance, a plain-clothed figure strode over beneath the newly risen sun, his expression as placid as autumn waters, without the slightest trace of hostility.
Within the First Prince's Manor, Xuan Zhen sensed something and turned his gaze toward the distance, a strange glint flashing through his eyes.

"Your Highness the Crown Prince, the Thirteenth Prince requests an audience outside."
A guard from the Crown Prince's Estate hurried forward and reported with a respectful bow.
"Let him in!"
Xuan Zhen said solemnly.
"Yes."
The guard accepted the order and turned to leave.
Not long afterward, the plain-clothed figure entered the estate, stepped into the hall, and offered a courteous salute. "Greetings, First Imperial Brother."
"No need for such formalities, Thirteenth Imperial Brother."
Xuan Zhen looked at the young man before him and said calmly, "Please, sit."
"Thank you, Imperial Brother!"
Ning Chen answered softly, then walked to the side and took a seat.
"Someone, serve tea."
Xuan Zhen ordered.
Soon, a maid emerged from the rear of the hall carrying fresh tea and poured a cup for each of them.
"Thank you," Ning Chen said softly.
"Thirteenth Imperial Brother, what brings you here?" Xuan Zhen asked impassively.
"Ever since arriving in Three Imperial Cities, I have not had the opportunity to pay you a visit. I had some free time today, so I came," Ning Chen said with a smile.
"You have only recently entered the imperial clan, so there are naturally many social obligations to attend to. You may handle your own affairs first; there is no need to be so courteous," Xuan
