Godless Theory
"Those eyes of yours can no longer see anything. What can they possibly see—light? What a joke!"
Above the ruins of the Hall of Nothingness, the aura of the Godless Theory of the Heavenly Domain continued to rise. She looked at the white-haired young man ahead of her and mocked him.
"Though I cannot see the light, I can still feel the lingering warmth in this world. Godless Theory, can you truly feel nothing at all?"
As he spoke, Ning Chen advanced step by step, sword intent rising around him. Man and sword shared one heart and one breath.
"Enough nonsense!"
Unwilling to argue further, Godless Theory snorted coldly. She poured her power into both hands, and streams of silver light gathered from all around, transforming into raging waves that surged toward the young man.
Ning Chen swung his sword. The ancient blade came down, and the void rumbled. It was a seemingly plain strike, yet it carried the might to split the heavens and tear apart the sea.
The silver torrent was cleaved apart by the sword light. Ning Chen walked through it, the sword intent around him continuing to climb.
Sword pressure—pure sword pressure, without the slightest impurity. Having lost everything, Ning Chen's sword had instead become even purer.
A sword without sensation, without perception, without self—there was only destruction. Wherever Ning Chen passed, all life was extinguished.
The origin of the sword had always been slaughter.
