Blazing City. The three of them proceeded in silence toward the Fire Nation Imperial Palace.

The palace ahead did not appear particularly grand, nor did it possess the prosperity of a human imperial dynasty. The ancient buildings carried the breath of passing years, and even from afar, one could feel that extraordinary oppressive force.

The Fire Nation revered martial prowess and had countless strong experts. The ruler of the Fire Nation, possessing the resources of an entire nation, was even an Immortal Ascension Realm expert whose cultivation was unfathomable.

Some said that the current Fire Lord was now the foremost person beneath the Ink Lord. Though that was somewhat exaggerated, it fully illustrated the strength of the present ruler of the Fire Nation.

The fire essences the three had come to obtain were born within the Fire Domain of the Fire Nation. Only the Fire Lord knew how to enter the Fire Domain, so if they wished to obtain the fire essences, the first person they had to face was the supreme expert within the Fire Nation Imperial Palace.

There were not many guards before the palace, far less heavily guarded than the imperial dynasties of the human world. Even so, no one dared enter without permission. After all, no one wished to provoke the displeasure of an Immortal Ascension Realm expert.

Out of courtesy, Qi Huan and Ning Chen announced their identities, then quietly waited outside the palace.
