Underworld God

In the Extreme North, the Phoenix Body scattered into form, its phoenix source transforming into a phoenix shadow that rushed into the Nine Heavens, taking away everything that belonged to Zhì Mìng.

In the void, chains spread from the bodies of thirteen Underworld Emissaries as they swept toward the phoenix source soaring into the sky.

Suddenly, thunder roared above the Nine Heavens. Amid rumbling tremors, an enormous demonic shadow descended from the heavens. Its hundred-zhang demonic body stood between heaven and earth, one foot shattering countless bolts of lightning as it descended upon the mortal world.

In an instant, dozens of iron chains shattered, scattering across the sky and falling like rain.

As the demonic body descended, it looked at the final soul of the Phoenix Body sealed within the phoenix source. An indescribable light flashed through its deep eyes.

Zhì Mìng could not die. Even if he had to suffer the agony of sealing for all eternity, he could not die.

What the Phoenix Body had done in the end had given both him and the original body a chance to survive.

"You have done well enough. Leave the rest to me."

The demonic body raised a hand. Demonic energy surged, gradually swallowing the phoenix source and the Heavenly Soul it had sealed within itself.

"An extraterrestrial demon."

The thirteen Underworld Emissaries looked at the enormous demonic body that had descended from the sky, their expressions darkening. Had the extraterrestrial demons not all been buried by the Queen Mother of the West in ancient times?

"You can all go to hell together."

As the words fell, the demonic body moved. A fist crashed down, and rumbling explosions rang out as stretches of void collapsed in response. Chaotic currents surged, and the terrifying might shook the heart.
