In the Underworld, before Yama King's Hall, the white-clad figure stood quietly. After waiting more than ten days, a streak of azure arrow-light tore through the sky, broke through the shackles of space, and fell from the heavens.
Ning Chen stepped forward, removed the jade slip bound to the arrow, and sent his divine sense into it. A moment later, his right hand clenched, crushing the jade slip.
"Chengxue, it was time to go."
Ning Chen looked toward Wuchang Hall in the distance and spoke.
Within Wuchang Hall, Mu Chengxue nodded. With one step, her figure vanished instantly.
The two set off, transforming into streams of light as they shot toward the heavens.
Above the Ten Yama Kings, the divine restriction opened. Their figures swept out and disappeared.
In the Purple Star Starfield, at the center of three enormous suns, a Primeval Great Life Star rose and fell. Countless ice crystals surrounded it, forming a beautiful belt of meteor light.
Several days later, the two figures arrived. Looking at the Primeval Great Star ahead, they stopped.
"Is this the location of the spirit vein Luo Xingchen found?" Mu Chengxue asked.
"Yes."
Ning Chen nodded. "Let's go down and take a look."
With that, the two flashed forward, hurrying toward the Great Life Star ahead.
Upon the Great Life Star, savage beasts roared and fierce birds tore through the sky. It was a true Primeval Land, where all things had yet to awaken and intelligence remained muddled and infantile.
The two descended. Ning Chen swept his divine sense across the entire star and began walking forward step by step.
Mu Chengxue followed beside him, and the two walked onward together.
"The spiritual energy is abundant, and there are no traces of humans. This is indeed a fine choice," Mu Chengxue said.
