Background

Ju Ji has no memories from before age twelve. His adoptive grandfather told him that he developed amnesia after a car accident at that age. Although his memories of a previous life gradually return, the missing memories from his current life remain absent; the Friend System activates because of this condition. 3

He enters Tokyo Advanced Nurturing High School under Kikyo Kushida's guidance. Meeting Ayanokoji Kiyotaka triggers the realization that he transmigrated into a world he knew from his past life, giving him partial foreknowledge of the school and its S-System. 3 4

From his first day, Ju Ji uses this knowledge to warn his class that their apparently generous point allowance is conditional. He is calculating and opportunistic. Ju Ji openly admits that his campaign to improve the class also serves his own interests, including increasing his reputation and Friendship Points. Despite this manipulative streak, he is protective of people he considers friends. He commits himself to defending Sudo from Class D's accusation, conceals evidence to prevent the opposing class from withdrawing its complaint, and uses hypnosis to help Sakura defend herself from an attacker. 37 47
