Background

Kamuro begins as Toru Hasegawa's seatmate in Class 1-A. Their first interaction is an immediate misunderstanding: she assumes Toru is staring at Sakayanagi Arisu because he likes her, then becomes disgusted when she catches him scrutinizing her instead. 2

She becomes one of Sakayanagi's useful subordinates. Toru initially exposes her as a potential means for Sakayanagi to spy on other classes, then regrets involving her and negotiates for Sakayanagi to keep her available for Class B and C rather than overburdening her. Kamuro remains unaware that this arrangement was made around her. 11 12
