In the city where flames soared into the sky, the invading army continued its beastly atrocities. Yet in one secluded corner, something bizarre was taking place.
Three soldiers from the invasion force had originally planned to grab a few pretty women from the nearby district for their enjoyment. Instead, they discovered something strange at the corner of a street.
One of the soldiers cautiously approached the fleshy cocoon, silently observing it for a while before frowning in confusion.
"What is this thing?"
Another soldier jabbed the fleshy cocoon with his rifle bayonet, only to find that the sharp blade could not pierce its outer skin at all.
"It looks like some kind of animal egg? But it's way too big, and it's incredibly hard. Why would there be something like this in the city?"
The third soldier urged them on with an excited grin.
"Who cares? We can report it to the officer later. More importantly, let's go find some women already. If we're too slow, the others will snatch them all up, hehehe!"
