"Another ten minutes? Do you know how much we can't afford to wait right now?"
Hearing Dunke's answer, Fente's expression immediately became even more frenzied. She stood rooted to the spot, grinding her teeth for quite a while, before viciously threatening him.
"Fine, I'll give you another ten minutes. Ten minutes from now, if you still haven't dealt with this damned cube, then I'll deal with you personally!"
Dunke made no sound. He remained silent and continued focusing on the erosion work at hand.
Meanwhile, Fente began pacing back and forth anxiously.
After all, the longer this dragged on, the more likely it was that something would happen to her five daughters.
At that thought, Fente ground her yellowed old teeth until they clacked. She was like a human-shaped bomb with its fuse lit, looking liable to explode out of control at any moment.
Sainsai, on the other hand, looked entirely different from Fente. He merely held a white cloth and silently wiped down his rusty branding iron, calm and composed as though he were an uninvolved bystander.
"Ahhh, what if my daughters keep dwindling away?"

The faster Fente paced, the more anxious her thoughts became. Like a madwoman on the verge of being crushed by pressure, she soon sank into a panic-stricken mutter.
