Sector Beasts advance by devouring one another. Their six orders increase their strength without requiring them to undergo Reincarnation; the final survivor becomes the Sector Beast King 444 445.

Background and Nature

Sector Beasts are presented as the antithesis of the Primal Universe: where the universe nurtures life, they destroy it. Under the Supreme Rules, they are born to cleanse life from the Universe Ocean. Their emergence is rare, but their gestation begins with one billion individuals, which compete through mutual devouring 401 427 457.

Their numbers fall as the survivors grow stronger. When Dis supplies intelligence, more than ten million remain, predominantly second-order with a smaller third-order population. The surviving beasts accelerate their evolution once they recognize the danger posed by Luo Feng and Ye Muxuan 444 446 456.

The species is not confined to this Universe Ocean. Sector Beasts can arise throughout the three thousand Universe Oceans, and mature specimens are feared on the Origin Continent. The Pagoda Spirit explains that unenslaved mature beasts are usually besieged by multiple nations before reaching their peak 432 457.

Appearance

• Natural form: Pitch-black body with two adjacent heads, each bearing a single enormous blood-red eye; its presence carries an evil aura 443 457.
• Disguise: The beast attacking Fire Bug True Lord initially appears as a towering silver-gray, steel-like creature resembling Zhenjia King. Its apparent divine-power aura resembles that of a Universe Ocean cultivator 424.
• King transformation: Dis’s blood-red Secret Patterns become increasingly complex and complete. Each head develops a single horn with white light at its tip 457.

Personality

Free Sector Beasts possess intense pride rooted in their souls and prefer death to enslavement. They regard the Universe Ocean’s inhabitants as food; the death of one of their kind at Ye Muxuan’s hands provokes collective outrage and demands for revenge 432 450.

Their rivalry does not prevent cooperation against outside threats. They assemble enormous encirclements around Luo Feng, then resume cannibalism when they conclude that only further evolution can defeat Ye Muxuan. Enslavement reverses Dis’s loyalties completely: it reveres Luo Feng and helps exterminate its own kind 450 452 454 456.

Origin Devouring

Sector Beasts consume the origins of Miniature Universes, threatening both their owners and the lives dependent on them 424 428.

• The first invading beast consumes Fire Bug True Lord’s Miniature Universe in approximately eight days 428 429.
• Three years later, it consumes Rampaging Demon God’s Miniature Universe in a single day 429.

Sector Beast Power and Soul Attacks

• The first invading beast withstands attacks from God Eye True Master, Juehe True God, and Blood Orchid Ancestor, then kills Fire Bug True Lord 427.
• Blood Orchid loses more than forty percent of his divine body while attempting to stop it 428.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Revelation and Preparation

The three Ancestral Gods announce the Sector Beast catastrophe on behalf of the Origin Will and identify the World of Jin as the Universe Ocean’s opportunity to prepare. They reveal the nest’s location and promise rewards for killing Sector Beasts 401 402.

The threat prompts the Universe Ocean’s factions to adopt a covenant protecting their access to the World of Jin. Later expeditions report soul attacks, divine-power annihilation, blood burning, and escape abilities, but the beasts’ population and upper limits remain uncertain 403 421.

Attacks on the Universe Ocean

The first invading beast targets Fire Bug True Lord’s Miniature Universe, kills its owner, and escapes despite pursuit by several leading True Gods. It subsequently attacks other universes, including Rampaging Demon God’s and Purple Moon Holy Land 424 427 428 429 430.

Ye Muxuan kills it with a single strike. Its corpse becomes a cultivation resource, but the victory only provides temporary relief: enormous numbers remain in the Land of Darkness 432 433.

Dis’s Capture and the Nest Campaign

Ye Muxuan captures Dis, and Luo Feng enslaves it using the Three-Star Realm technique. They keep the achievement secret and obtain detailed intelligence about the species’ evolution, abilities, and destiny 442 443 444 445.

With Dis tracking the enemy, Luo Feng enters the nest while Ye Muxuan guards its exit. Luo Feng lures more than nine million beasts together and annihilates them with the stored Source of the Chaos Golden Wings, leaving fewer than one hundred thousand 446 453.

Final King and Resolution

Some survivors escape into the Universe Ocean despite Ye Muxuan’s interception. They resume mutual slaughter to produce a beast capable of defeating him, eventually leaving fifth-order You as the last free survivor 455 456 457.

Ye Muxuan blocks You’s destruction technique, has the Incomplete Flat Cylinder absorb its realm, and kills it. The dead beasts’ energy flows into Dis, transforming it into the enslaved Sector Beast King. The calamity ends, and the Universe Ocean returns to normal 457 458 460.
