Bibi Dong was formerly Spirit Hall’s Saintess and Qian Xunji’s personal disciple. She loved Yu Xiaogang and was willing to abandon her position for him. Qian Xunji raped her, resulting in Qian Renxue’s birth; Bibi Dong later killed him in retribution 410 411 439.

Qian Daoliu investigated and learned the truth, but publicly attributed Qian Xunji’s death to Tang Hao. He spared Bibi Dong and allowed her to inherit the papacy, partly out of guilt over his son’s crime and concern for Qian Renxue 411.
