After dinner.
On the bus back to Moon Court Villa, Kitagawa Kai received a call from Kiriyama Ikuyo.
"President, I hope I'm not disturbing you?"
"Not at all. How are things going over there?"
Kiriyama Ikuyo briefly reported on their itinerary for the day.
The Student Council group was just about to have dinner. Their accommodations and reception had gone smoothly, and everyone had thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
"Everyone is very grateful to you for giving us this team-building opportunity, President. We rarely get a chance to leave campus and unwind for a few days."
"As long as everyone's having fun."
Kitagawa Kai smiled. "Everyone's been working hard lately, too. Say hello to them for me. Also, make sure they stay safe during their free time tonight."
"Understood. I'll remind everyone."
After giving him a couple more instructions, Kitagawa Kai hung up, feeling rather pleased.
Kiriyama was pretty considerate.
He didn't have to take the initiative to ask, but they couldn't go without giving him even a brief report.
As their president, he ought to have some idea of how they were doing on their trip.

Beside him, Karuizawa Kei called sweetly, offering him a gummy.
Kitagawa Kai took it into his mouth. Before he could taste any sweetness, a burst of sourness exploded across his tongue. He bared his teeth. "Where did you get this little thing? It really packs a punch!"
"I bought it this afternoon. The clerk said it sells really well and especially appeals to certain people, so I picked up a bag."
Karuizawa Kei turned the package around to show him the fruit gummies in several colors inside. "So? Is it good?"
"If nothing else, it certainly wakes you up."
