When Class B offers special information for 500,000 Personal Points, its students argue over the purchase; Hirata ultimately ends the discussion and the class declines the deal as a group 31. Kitagawa judges that the class lacks cohesion and would not be able to offer a worthwhile price for information 15.

Its poor discipline has immediate consequences. Chabashira reveals that repeated rule violations have reduced Class D's Class Points to zero, eliminating its monthly Personal Point distribution and triggering blame among classmates 34. The class later loses Sūdō Ken through expulsion after he is framed in an assault case 89.

Hirata later negotiates directly with Ryūen Kakeru for shared final-exam papers and compensation, demanding at least 80% of Class C's paper to secure Class D's survival 274.

Kitagawa Kai's Influence
