"Hmm... the bright sun, another new day!" Fang Bie stretched his back and sat up from his bed.
At the same time, sounds came from the two rooms beside him; it seemed the two guests sleeping next door had also woken up at this moment.
Fang Bie slowly walked out the door and washed up briefly in a puddle he had specifically left to the side.
In MC, as long as you have a bucket, you can create a constant flow of water using two blocks of water. Originally, a single block of water was almost infinite, but two blocks could even create a vast ocean.
Therefore, he had no intention of conserving water; he simply opened a gap in the pool on the other side, letting the water fall from a height of two meters to create a small waterfall for his daily washing.
Tony Stark was the first to walk out of his room. Aside from a slightly dazed expression, his spirit was much, much better than when he had first arrived yesterday.
Fang Bie was happy to see this. After all, a clear-headed and sharp-witted Iron Man was the kind of person he was willing to converse with, not the dazed, hyper-vigilant, and eccentric man from yesterday.
But Tony still looked strange when he saw him. Fang Bie had explained some of the characteristics of this world to them in detail last night, and even with his capacity for acceptance, it was probably a bit much to take in.
For instance, this water that could flow endlessly from a single block without ever decreasing was something that would break his brain if he tried to figure it out. If he hadn't seen the even stranger blocks floating in the air yesterday, he would have wanted to drag Newton over to take a look.
"My equipment here is crude, and I don't have anything for you to wash up with, so you'll just have to make do for now!" Fang Bie pointed to the small flowing waterfall in front of him and said with a smile, "There's some beef left over from last night; you can take some for breakfast. If you find it too greasy, apples are actually a pretty good choice!"
However, Tony seemed not to have heard him at all. He stared at the water flowing incessantly into the pool below, never stopping, as if he were stunned, and he didn't hear a word of what was being said.
"Tony?" Fang Bie walked up to him, feeling a bit strange, and waved his hand gently, as if wanting to know what had happened to him. But he was pushed aside rather roughly, Tony's eyes still fixed firmly on the flowing water.
"Yinsen?" Fang Bie saw the bald doctor who had just arrived by the water, seemingly having just woken from a dream and not yet recovered from his grogginess, and asked tentatively.
"Tony must have discovered something again. He only reacts like this when he finds something he doesn't understand. You won't be able to wake him."
Yinsen looked at Fang Bie, seemingly understanding the confusion in his eyes, and hurriedly explained. This confusion was very similar to the look he used to have.
"Is that so? Then how do you usually deal with it?" Fang Bie asked again.
"Just leave him be. When he wakes up on his own, he'll come looking for us." Yinsen shrugged, "Let's go eat first. After doing so much work yesterday, I feel like I could eat a whole cow today!"
"That's because you don't know how big a cow actually is." Fang Bie said, walking into the house and pulling a steak out of a chest.
Just like the half-man-high lamb chop, this steak was the size of a person. The meat, as thick as a fist, made the steak look extremely substantial, and Fang Bie had to carry it on his shoulder just to show his face.
"How about it? Do you still think you can eat a whole cow?"
A look of dismay appeared on Yinsen's face, "Forget it, I take back what I said. This piece of meat is enough for the three of us for half a week."
"Then let's prepare Tony's portion first; he should be hungry when he wakes up!" Fang Bie said, stuffing the steak into the Furnace.
He thought again about the strange settings of this game world; even a steak many times larger than the Furnace could be easily stuffed inside without any gaps.
As long as he waited 10 minutes, the steak would be roasted by the Furnace just like the lamb chop. He wondered what the steak in this world would taste like.
"Fang, I'm going to fetch some water over there. This house seems to need a good cleaning." Yinsen was very self-aware in finding work for himself. He seemed quite infatuated with the feeling of being able to use items so easily, and he wandered off toward the pond by the field, holding an iron bucket.
Fang Bie watched him with a smile. Such an unassuming guy—it was hard to imagine he was a medical doctor who had once worked with Iron Man to build the first Iron Man armor.
Fang Bie thought about their current situation again. Although they didn't have to worry about food or clothing for the moment, eating only meat wasn't a long-term solution. He would go check on the field later; if things were going well there, he wouldn't need to hunt today and could think about going mining instead.
After all, survival was only the first priority in this world. At least with sufficient food, staying alive wasn't difficult; it could even be said to be very simple.
But Fang Bie couldn't just stay here living such a dull and boring life. He was bound to explore those strange and magnificent places, to train in areas that posed a threat to his life—this was the spirit of adventure rooted in his bones!
When they finished their morning activities and sat at the table gnawing on their steaks, a somewhat strange English exclamation suddenly rang out by the pool.
Fang Bie turned his head in confusion and asked Yinsen, "What's wrong with him now?"
"Tony seems to have found the answer to his problem and has snapped out of his state of exploration. Let's go, let's go see him." Yinsen seemed very familiar with this situation, taking his steak and walking quickly toward the pool.
"What a strange habit." Fang Bie said, casually grabbing another piece of beef to put in his backpack and walking over as well, "Perhaps this is where geniuses differ from ordinary people?"
Tony was digging a hole by the pool to create another waterfall, waiting slowly for the two-meter-deep pit he had dug to fill up. He didn't care at all that he was completely soaked, with half his body even submerged in the water.
"Yes, yes!" He muttered these words. Fang Bie vaguely heard some other words, but couldn't fully understand what the other party meant.
However, he could feel the joy from the bottom of his heart in Tony's ecstasy, and he couldn't help but smile.
Smiles are easily contagious; at the very least, the two of them, who had been blankly gnawing on beef, were now tinged with a layer of happiness.
"Yinsen! I've got it! I've thought of a way to escape!" Tony turned his head to look at the two of them, saying to Yinsen with some excitement.
