The God of Agriculture smiled. "Why must you remain so fixated on this, Your Excellency? We are allies now. We cannot betray one another, can we?"
"Besides, I helped you devour that God of Plants. That can be considered the fulfillment of an obsession I have held for many years."
"What matters more now is the fall of the God of Commerce. The divine war ended many years ago. All gods have honored the pact and remained within their respective Divine Realms, only descending into the human world through Divine Descent."
"Now, he has suddenly fallen. This situation, unchanged for a thousand years, may be about to shift."
The Goddess of Life looked extremely displeased.
