"After all this time, you're still just as boisterous as ever. Long time no see, Kei."

Mazumi Mami said to Karuizawa Kei.

"Yes, that's right, it's me! I finally found you!"

Karuizawa Kei was incredibly excited; she almost instinctively reached out to hug Mazumi Mami.

However, Chisato Nishikigi, Runa Inoue, and Walnut blocked her path.

"Please calm down, miss. Please refrain from making casual contact with our young master."

Chisato Nishikigi said.

"That's right, don't just go getting close to our young master."

Runa Inoue said.

"What is your relationship with our young master, and why are you looking for him? Is this official business or personal?"

Walnut said.

"Uh..."

Blocked by the three girls, Karuizawa Kei didn't know how to react for a moment.

"You've misunderstood. I'm not here to hurt the Savior; I just want to find him and stay by his side, that's all."

Karuizawa Kei said.

"It seems we have a challenger, then. We can't afford to let our guard down. If you want to see the young master, you'll have to get past us first!"

Chisato Nishikigi said.

"Although I know that with the young master's charm, there are surely many girls who want to stay by his side, you are the first one to actually do it. You've got guts. Come on, let's fight!"

Runa Inoue said.

"Since you're a challenger, I'll have to look up your information. I hope your data security is well-protected."

Walnut said.

"I told you, I'm not an enemy! What are you people doing?!"

"And that last one—that sounded terrifying. Isn't that just doxxing?! Don't say such scary things!"

Karuizawa Kei couldn't help but retort.

The group stood in a standoff at the dormitory entrance for a moment, the atmosphere turning somewhat delicate.

Chisato Nishikigi and the others formed a semi-circle in front of Mazumi Mami. Although they didn't adopt an aggressive stance, their silent intent to block her was quite clear.

While the three of them knew they couldn't monopolize Mazumi Mami, it didn't mean they were particularly magnanimous; a basic level of jealousy was still present.

Karuizawa Kei stood where she was, looking at the three girls with their varying expressions, feeling at a loss for words.

Watching this scene, Mazumi Mami couldn't help but chuckle softly, breaking the stalemate: "Alright, alright, everyone calm down. Let's talk inside the dorm. The dorm is large enough, so it's no problem to accommodate us."

He stepped aside and made a "please" gesture, signaling for Karuizawa Kei to follow.

Chisato Nishikigi and Runa Inoue exchanged a glance. Although their eyes still held a hint of scrutiny and vigilance, since Mazumi Mami had spoken, they couldn't continue to block her.

The three of them silently cleared a path and followed behind Mazumi Mami and Karuizawa Kei into the dormitory building.

On the way to the room, Mazumi Mami gave a brief explanation: "The story between Kei and me is a bit long. I'll tell you all about it once we're inside."

Chisato Nishikigi hummed softly, crossing her arms over her chest, her tone carrying a faint trace of jealousy: "Fine, since the young master says so—we'll give her a chance. However, if she has any ill intentions—"

Her voice suddenly dropped half an octave, and her usually energetic tone took on a chilling edge: "I will make her disappear from this world."

"I'll scout out a suitable location," Runa Inoue added, her tone as calm as if she were discussing what to have for dinner.

"I'll handle the cleanup," Walnut said flatly. "I guarantee that not a single camera will record anything that happens here."

Karuizawa Kei, walking in front, had been secretly rejoicing at finally finding the person she had been longing for, but upon hearing these three sentences that sounded like a murder plot, she stumbled in her step. She couldn't help but turn back and shout: "I told you I'm not a bad person! Don't say such terrifying things—?!"

Chisato Nishikigi stuck her tongue out at her without responding directly.

The group walked into Mazumi Mami's dormitory amidst the noisy atmosphere.

The moment the door closed behind them, the clamor of the outside world was shut out.

This was Karuizawa Kei's first time stepping into a boy's private space. Her gaze instinctively swept around—the living room was spacious and tidy, decorated simply yet stylishly, and a faint, pleasant fragrance lingered in the air, completely different from what she had imagined a boy's room would be like.

She stood at the entryway, hesitating for a moment before taking off her black calfskin shoes, revealing a pair of slender, delicate feet wrapped in gradient white socks.

Her toes curled slightly, as if she were nervous, and then she stepped cautiously onto the dormitory's wooden floor.

In the living room, Chisato Nishikigi, Runa Inoue, and Walnut were already seated around the small table in the center, their gazes fixed squarely on Karuizawa Kei.

Although they didn't speak, their silent scrutiny created an invisible pressure—the scene felt less like "welcoming a new friend" and more like "interrogating a prisoner."

"Now then—"

Chisato Nishikigi spoke first, leaning forward with her hands pressed against the table, her tone carrying the air of an interrogator. "Miss, please introduce yourself first. Name, gender, which class—and, what is your purpose in approaching our young master? Please answer honestly!"

"I will record every word you say."

Runa Inoue produced a small notebook and a pen from out of nowhere, sitting up straight with a serious gaze fixed on Karuizawa Kei, as if she were conducting a formal interrogation.

"My computer is also ready for action."

Walnut had already opened her laptop at some point, her fingers hovering over the keyboard as strings of code scrolled rapidly across the screen. "The moment you utter anything suspicious, I can dig up your entire personal history within thirty seconds—including how many laps you ran during P.E. in elementary school."

Karuizawa Kei stood in the center of the living room, looking at the three girls who were braced for battle, feeling as though she had stumbled into a top-secret interrogation room.

The corner of her mouth twitched a few times, and in the end, she couldn't help but let out a deep sigh. "I mean, seriously, you guys..."

She opened her mouth to retort, but faced with their gazes—which were far too serious to be a joke—she suddenly felt that saying anything would be futile. She could only look helplessly toward Mazumi Mami, who was pouring water nearby.

Mazumi Mami walked back carrying a few glasses of water and couldn't help but chuckle at the scene.

He placed a glass of water in front of Karuizawa Kei and said in a gentle tone, "Alright, Kei, sit down and rest for a moment. Have some water to calm down."

He then turned to the three girls who were acting as if they were facing a formidable enemy, his eyes carrying a soothing smile. "Once I explain the situation between Kei and me properly, I'm sure you won't have such strong objections."

Karuizawa Kei looked at the glass of water Mazumi Mami had handed her, then at his gentle smile, and the tension and awkwardness in her heart finally began to ease.

She took the glass, whispered a "thank you," and, at Mazumi Mami's gesture, sat down cautiously on the sofa.

She held the glass with both hands but didn't drink immediately, instead lowering her head in silence for a moment, as if organizing her thoughts and words.
