Godfiend War!

Within Chaos.

Although over a hundred Great Dao Divine Demons had now been born, there were still only three major factions.

One was the Orderly Faction led by the Creation Godfiend, with the Life Godfiend, Good Fortune Godfiend, Immortal Path Godfiend, and others among its ranks.

The other was the Disorderly Faction led by the Destruction Godfiend, including the Death Godfiend, Silent Extinction Godfiend, Plague Godfiend, and other Godfiends whose Great Daos opposed those of the Orderly Faction.

The third was the Neutral Faction, whose members possessed no opposing Great Daos and believed Chaos ought to remain balanced. Led by the Returning Ruins Godfiend, it included the Reincarnation Godfiend, Yin Yang Godfiend, Five Elements Godfiend, and others.

Among them, Lun Hui was particularly close to the Returning Ruins Godfiend and was the strongest Neutral Godfiend besides the Returning Ruins Godfiend. He had been born within the Returning Ruins Land, yet existed independently of it, forming a realm of his own known as the Reincarnation Land.

Within reincarnation stood an incomparably terrifying figure—the Reincarnation Godfiend!

The three major factions checked and opposed one another, maintaining a certain degree of balance.

These Great Dao Divine Demons would clash every so often, and each battle would be followed by a period of peace.

At the center of Chaos, a Thirty-Six Grade Chaos World-Creating Azure Lotus swayed with the wind, radiating all manner of creation aura.

This was the Orderly Faction's headquarters, where the Creation Godfiend sat cross-legged beside the Azure Lotus.

Dozens of Chaotic Godfiends surrounded them, including the Life Godfiend, Good Fortune Godfiend, Order Godfiend, Immortal Path Godfiend, and other Godfiends with closely related Great Daos.

They constantly contemplated their own Great Daos, occasionally displaying them to discuss with the other Godfiends.

Through such Dao Discussions, where Great Daos generated, restrained, approached, and diverged from one another, the cultivation of the many Godfiends rose swiftly.

At last, the Creation Godfiend broke through, reaching the Golden Immortal Mid Stage and surpassing the other Godfiends.

Although their cultivation was low, their combat power could crush First Order beings from other Divine Kingdoms.

On the other side of Chaos.

Dozens of Godfiends likewise surrounded the Destruction Godfiend. They were also discussing the Dao together, and their cultivation was rising rapidly.

"Creation has broken through!"

The Destruction Godfiend suddenly opened their eyes and stopped the Dao Discussion.

As the opposite of the Creation Great Dao, how could they not know that the Creation Great Dao had grown stronger?

"Everyone, the Creation Godfiend possesses the ultimate treasure, the Thirty-Six Grade World-Creating Azure Lotus. In terms of Great Dao comprehension, we cannot match them. Now that their cultivation is the highest and their insights the deepest, if this continues, sooner or later we will die by their hands!"

"That is true. But their cultivation has just broken through, and none of us possesses such cultivation. We are not superior in numbers either. How can we fight them?" The Death Godfiend nodded, agreeing with the Destruction Godfiend.

Within Chaos, there was only one ultimate treasure, and it belonged to the Creation Godfiend. Others could not use it at all.

As for destroying that ultimate treasure, that was even more impossible. The Godfiends of the Orderly Faction remained there every day. Even if they had such intentions, they could never accomplish it.

Furthermore, though this ultimate treasure belonged to the Creation Godfiend, strangely enough, the Creation Godfiend could not refine it at all. They could only comprehend the Great Dao upon it and could not truly refine it.

"Though Creation's cultivation is profound, the gap is not great. Besides, at the same realm, my combat power far surpasses Good Fortune's. While I cannot kill them, I can barely contend with them."

"As long as you can slay the opposing Great Daos, we can thoroughly eliminate the Godfiends of the Orderly Faction!"

The Destruction Godfiend rose. Their incomparably massive body caused even the flowing aura within Chaos to stagnate, and the destruction aura emanating from them startled even the Godfiends of the Disorderly Faction.

"I have long been unable to restrain myself from fighting!!!"

The War Godfiend rose as well. They had the form of a gigantic ape ten thousand zhang tall and wielded the War Great Dao. Originally, they had no opposing Great Dao, but because they loved fighting, they had still joined the Disorderly Faction.

Not all Godfiends without opposing Great Daos joined the Neutral Faction, just as the Time and Space Godfiends had not before.

"Dao Friends, follow me into battle!!!"

The Destruction Godfiend took one step and crossed endless Chaos. More than forty Chaotic Godfiends followed in their wake.

At the World-Creating Azure Lotus.

"I sense the aura of Destruction. They have come!!!"

The Creation Godfiend, who had just broken through, rose to their feet. The scales upon their body stood erect, and an unprecedented fighting spirit surged within them.

"I sense the aura of Death as well..."

The Life Godfiend was an Azure Heaven Wood, lush with verdant leaves. Every green leaf contained endless vitality. They were the ultimate form of life and the source of all living things.

Without them, even the mightiest universe would struggle to give birth to living beings.

Except for Chaotic Worlds born from Great Daos...

In an instant, the powerful figures of the Disorderly Faction arrived before the Orderly Faction.

"Destruction, what do you intend by coming here?!"

The Creation Godfiend watched the Destruction Godfiend in the opposing faction with a wary expression.

"Heh? Other than sending you back into the embrace of the Great Dao, what else could I be here for? A Dao Discussion? Ridiculous!" The Destruction Godfiend glanced at the Creation Godfiend and sneered.

"If that is the case, then do not blame me for showing no mercy! You wish to send me back into the Great Dao? Wishful thinking!!!" A powerful aura erupted from the Creation Godfiend as the scales on their body detached on their own and shot toward the Destruction Godfiend.

Crash!!!

The scales on the Destruction Godfiend's body detached as well, carrying boundless destruction aura as they collided, scale after scale, with the incoming scales of the Creation Godfiend.

Boom!!!

The scales shattered against one another. As scale after scale fell, new scales grew again upon both the Creation Godfiend and the Destruction Godfiend.

They were manifestations of their Great Daos. Once annihilated, they would emerge again.

"Creation, why does one who wields the Creation Great Dao commit acts of destruction?!!!"

The Destruction Godfiend wore a look of contempt as they mocked them.

"Heh, Destruction, we are both Great Dao Divine Demons. Why put on such a hypocritical act!" The Creation Godfiend sneered. They were not so-called Saints, but Great Dao Divine Demons.

The title of Godfiend itself meant that they were both god and demon, possessing the heart to save the world as well as the thought to destroy it.

After trading barbs, the two collided. Their fists and kicks carried the force of the Great Dao as they fought in the most primal manner.

As the Creation Godfiend and Destruction Godfiend clashed, the Godfiends of the Orderly Faction each sought out the Great Dao Divine Demons whose Great Daos opposed their own.

Those Godfiends without opposing Great Daos paired off and slaughtered one another.

For a time, battle after battle erupted throughout Chaos.

The Godfiend War was about to erupt!!!
