A moment later, Gulanxiu found a head-sized sphere inside the Armored Dragon Beast's battered body.

The sphere was golden all over and translucent. Within it, he could just make out a miniature Armored Dragon curled up and shivering.

This sphere was the Armored Dragon Beast's Core Nucleus, and the miniature Armored Dragon within it was the beast's soul.

Gulanxiu smiled at the Armored Dragon's soul. "Don't resist! Otherwise, I'll shatter this Core Nucleus and kill you for good!"

Faced with Gulanxiu's threat, panic flashed through the Armored Dragon's eyes. But with its life on the line, it nodded reluctantly.

Once the Armored Dragon agreed, a three-story tower appeared between Gulanxiu's brows.

The little tower spun in place, emitting a hazy silver light.

Suddenly, the tower came to a halt, and a silver-white orb of light flew out of it, landing on the Armored Dragon Beast's Core Nucleus.

Under Gulanxiu's overwhelming pressure, the Armored Dragon didn't dare resist. It let the orb of light sink deep into its soul.

Gulanxiu smiled. "Haha! It worked!"

At that moment, he could clearly feel that he had taken control of the Armored Dragon's soul. With just a thought, he could shatter it and kill the beast!

Now that he had enslaved the Armored Dragon, Gulanxiu wasn't about to skimp. He immediately took out a large amount of cosmic crystals for it to absorb, hoping to restore its body as quickly as possible so it could help him.

This was the plan Gulanxiu had come up with before arriving on Bloodfall Continent. Bloodfall Crystals were a treasure, and the more he could get, the better. But unlike Luo Feng, he didn't have a Clone Secret Technique. Collecting them on his own would be far too slow, and there was also the danger of drawing the attention of the Immortal Temple.

So he had planned to find a way to control a powerful native life-form, then send it out to collect Bloodfall Crystals for him. Even if the Immortal Temple found out, it wouldn't matter much. At worst, he could just sacrifice a servant.

That was why he had gone all out with his aura as soon as he arrived on Bloodfall Continent: to attract powerful creatures.

Of course, if the creature that came was too powerful for Gulanxiu to handle, he was prepared. As long as an Immortal God didn't personally intervene, there wouldn't be a problem.

Fortunately, Gulanxiu was lucky enough to encounter a Wild Beast at the Domain Lord level peak.

It was only because Bloodfall Continent was so primitive that Gulanxiu dared to pull a stunt like this. Without a communications system, he could make as much commotion as he liked without any real consequences.

With an ample supply of energy, the Armored Dragon Beast recovered quickly. In less than half a day, its body was completely restored. Looking at the imposing creature before him, Gulanxiu's eyes showed a hint of satisfaction.

"Master!" The Armored Dragon called out respectfully, then lowered itself to the ground in submission.

That was how Soul Enslavement worked. It could change a soul from its very depths. From then on, the master's commands would take precedence above all else. Even if ordered to die, the enslaved being wouldn't hesitate.

"What's your name? And where are we?" Gulanxiu asked directly.

The Armored Dragon replied respectfully, "Master, my name is Qila'angsi. I'm a member of the Golden Armored Dragon Clan, one of the few fourth-grade Wild Beast clans on Bloodfall Continent. This Blood Spirit Grassland is one of our clan's territories. We're ruled by a Golden Armor Dragon at the World Level Peak, along with twelve Golden Armor Dragons at the Domain Level Peak!"

"We twelve Domain Level Peak Golden Armor Dragons are spread across the twelve directions of the Blood Spirit Grassland, each with our own territory. Under normal circumstances, we don't enter one another's territory. The World Level Peak Golden Armor Dragon's territory is right in the center of the grassland!"

Gulanxiu nodded. "Was that red glow on your tail just now the Bloodfall Force? How many Bloodfall Crystals have you fused with?"

"Master, I've only fused with four Bloodfall Crystals so far," Qila'angsi said sheepishly. "That's on the low side for the Golden Armored Dragon Clan."

Gulanxiu nodded. The original story had said that fourth-grade Wild Beasts with metal attributes could fuse with at least three Bloodfall Crystals. The Qi Ox that served Blood God Ba Qi had fused with as many as twelve. Qila'angsi had only fused with four, which really was on the low side. He just didn't know how many he could fuse with himself.

With that in mind, Gulanxiu continued, "How many Bloodfall Crystals do you have left?"

"Master, I only have two Bloodfall Crystals left. They're both in your hands now," Qila'angsi said quietly.

Gulanxiu nodded and said, "I'm going to fuse with these Bloodfall Crystals. Stand guard for me!"

Qila'angsi nodded quickly. "Don't worry, Master! I won't let anyone disturb you while you fuse with the Bloodfall Crystals!"

Gulanxiu nodded, put away the Heavy Metal Stym, and revealed his true aura.

A flicker of surprise crossed Qila'angsi's eyes. He hadn't expected his master, whose Law Comprehension was so impressive, to be only at the Cloudsoar Level.

Gulanxiu paid no attention to what Qila'angsi thought. He cut a wound in his arm in an instant and pressed a Bloodfall Crystal into it!

A strange energy swept through Gulanxiu's body, and blood-red patterns appeared across his skin.

A murderous aura surged into his Sea of Consciousness. "Kill!" "Kill!" Waves of frenzied bloodlust flooded Gulanxiu's mind.

But just then, the seed in his Sea of Consciousness once again gave off a soft green glow, calming the killing intent in his mind.

The Bloodfall Force, which had been scattered throughout his body, seemed to be drawn toward the seed in his Sea of Consciousness, quickly gathering and flowing into it.

The seed glimmered faintly, then settled down.

Gulanxiu opened his eyes and felt his body. Finding no change, he couldn't help but laugh wryly. The seed intercepted the Bloodfall Crystal! Looks like I can't become a Blood Warrior until I've fed it enough!

Even so, Gulanxiu was still pleased. After all, the seed was his greatest secret. The last time it had absorbed enough Cosmic Level Chaos True Spirit, it had raised his Gene to five times its previous level and greatly improved his comprehension.

Gulanxiu had originally planned to wait until he broke through to Domain Lord before hunting Chaos True Spirits to raise the seed's level.

Now he had unexpectedly discovered that the seed could absorb Bloodfall Crystals too. This meant he could bring it to maturity early and trigger his own transformation.

Besides, Chaos City was completely under the control of the Chaos City Lord, unlike Bloodfall Continent. If Gulanxiu hunted too many Chaos Beasts, there was no guarantee the Chaos City Lord wouldn't notice.

Even if the Chaos City Lord did find out, he most likely wouldn't harm Gulanxiu. Still, Gulanxiu didn't want to expose his secret before he was able to control his own fate.
