Gulanxiu did not give chase. In his current disguise, he was merely a normal genius at the Cosmic Level who had comprehended the Earth Domain. The Earth element was inherently average in speed, and chasing after them now would make him stand out too much.

Besides, he had no real grievance with that silver wolf. Killing it would bring him no benefit. Gulanxiu was not a bloodthirsty man by nature, and there was no need to exterminate it completely.

Gulanxiu nodded in acknowledgment. "Are you returning to Danyang City now, or continuing your training? I have been traveling through various worlds and have yet to visit Danyang City!"

Liu Jiang smiled bitterly. "I was overestimating myself before, insisting on coming to the Blood Spirit Grassland to train. I never expected to lose two guards. Even the edge of the Blood Spirit Grassland is this dangerous, so we dare not venture deeper. Naturally, we are returning to Danyang City now!"

Hearing this, Gulanxiu nodded. "In that case, it happens to be on my way. We can travel together!"

In truth, if not for the mediation of an envoy from the Immortal Temple a thousand years ago, even Danyang City might not have been saved.

Jia Ming was the alias Gulanxiu had taken in the Bloodfall World. Though he had made few enemies in the Original Universe, it was hard to say no one held a grudge. If there were other trainees on the Bloodfall Continent, he risked exposure.

After all, the commotion he had caused on the Blood Spirit Grassland was considerable. He didn't know if it had alerted the Immortal Temple, so for now, it was best to keep a low profile and be cautious.

The city guards clearly recognized Liu Jiang's group. They let them pass without any questioning, saving Gulanxiu the entry fee.

Gulanxiu smiled and nodded. "Then I shall gratefully accept!" With that, he followed Liu Zhongyuan into the Liu estate.

He had to admit, the Liu estate was quite large, spanning roughly ten thousand meters in length and width. But what struck Gulanxiu as odd was how quiet and empty it felt. Normally, a Domain Lord-level family should be a significant force in Danyang City, not so desolate.

Still, he dismissed the thought after a moment. None of this concerned him. He was merely a guest, here to find a place to train.

If the Liu family did have trouble, he would help if he could. If not, he would simply find another place to cultivate.
