Background / History

Fang Zhongwu traveled extensively in his youth, venturing beyond the Great Zhou Dynasty and the Hundred Kingdoms. His experiences gave him a broad understanding of cultivation resources, sect practices, and the dangers faced by young geniuses. He entered Foundation Establishment at twenty-nine but kept this achievement obscure because he trained outside the dynasty and did not seek fame 34 45.

He fell in love with a woman from Fang Yuan's maternal ancient clan. The clan expected him to change his surname upon marriage; unwilling to abandon the Fang Family name and its ancestral principles, he and Fang Yuan's mother eloped before Fang Yuan was born.
