At high noon, sunlight pierced the heavy clouds. A solitary figure stood atop a lonely mountain peak.

"Bing'er, you're here."
The Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion was about five feet long, its body colored both icy white and emerald green. It had two enormous pincers, and its sharp foreclaws were a foot long, radiating waves of chill. Its eyes were yellow, and behind it stretched a long, raised scorpion tail with five segments. The silver-white barb at its tip looked exceptionally sharp.
"Is something troubling you? You've been frowning all day."
Snow Empress looked about seventeen or eighteen. Her long, pure-white hair fell down her back, and a white dress draped over her flawless figure, lending her an air of nobility and elegance.
"In another ten thousand years, my seven-hundred-thousand-year Heavenly Tribulation will arrive. You'll also face your four-hundred-thousand-year one. Honestly, I'm not confident I can survive mine."
For a while, neither Snow Empress nor Ice Empress said a word.
"Xue'er, where there's a will, there's a way. I believe we'll find one."
"I hope so." Snow Empress sighed softly.
Just then, Snow Empress glanced up at the sky. Her cold eyes sharpened.
Ice Empress sensed it, too. Several powerful figures were descending from above... Ice Empress focused on their auras and realized they felt familiar!
Five figures landed almost simultaneously in the deep snow, kicking up clouds of white powder.
