Liu Chongshan and Madam Liu looked at each other.

Madam Liu cried out at the sight.

The woman was scared out of her wits. Crying out, she lunged toward him.

Several armed guards rushed in at the call.
But just then, the young man in the chair let out a soft "Mm." His eyelids trembled, and he slowly opened his eyes.
His gaze was unfocused, his breath as faint as a thread. He spoke in broken fragments.

Madam Liu froze at his words. Then, with a wail, she threw herself forward and hugged him, crying over and over.
"My son! My son!"
Liu Chongshan was dumbfounded as well. He turned to Shen Hui, opened his mouth, and after a long while finally forced out a sentence.

Shen Hui waved a hand and only asked.
"How many others went to Severed Connection Mountain with your son to admire the snow? Who were they?"
Liu Chongshan hurriedly replied, "There were five others, all sons of somewhat prominent families in the city. The Zhang Family's
