Several days later, Yan Chihuo heard a clear, ringing whistle. Delighted, he knew Su Yuwen had finished refining the artifacts. He turned around and saw Su Yuwen emerging from the cave.
She said to Yan Chihuo, "Fellow Daoist Yan, I truly apologize. In the end, there was too little Spirit Stone Immortal Milk, so these four God-Falling Steles were not refined into spirit treasures."
With a flick of her jade-like hand, the four God-Falling Steles flew out and landed in Yan Chihuo's palm. He examined them and saw spiritual energy faintly surfacing from the steles, as though four humanoid phantoms were swaying within them. He knew that these four God-Falling Steles were on the verge of advancing into spirit treasures.
A thought stirred in his heart. This may not necessarily be a bad thing. I plan to merge them with the Heaven-Burning Wind-Rending Diagram. If they advance into spirit treasures, it will instead take much more effort.
Yan Chihuo said, "What are you saying, Fairy? You exhausted your heart and strength for these few God-Falling Steles of mine. I am already deeply grateful."
Su Yuwen said, "Fellow Daoist Yan, this matter is settled. I intend to return to Asura Valley. Where do you plan to go?"
Yan Chihuo said, "The scenery of Ice Fire Valley is quite distinctive, and the coexistence of ice and fire is exceedingly rare. I plan to remain here for some time."
Su Yuwen said, "Then I shall not disturb you any longer, Fellow Daoist. Farewell."
With that, she swept her sleeve, and the flying carriage appeared in the air. Su Yuwen cupped her hands to Yan Chihuo, flew into the carriage, and vanished in a flash of white light.
After Su Yuwen had gone far away, Yan Chihuo returned to the Ice Fire Cold Spring.
