While Mu Tuotuo was resting below deck, he suddenly heard a violent commotion above.
"What's going on?"
He hurriedly put on his cloak and rushed upstairs.
By then, the deck was already in chaos. Overturned wine jugs lay scattered across the ground, Return Fruit Wine spilled everywhere, and the people by the railings stood with weapons in hand, staring at the sea in shock.
Mu Tuotuo followed their gazes.
Several extremely strange shadows leaped out of the water, kicking up a series of splashes.
It was only a fleeting glimpse.
Yet some sharp-eyed sailors could already make out what they were.
They appeared to be some kind of bizarre fish covered in sharp, hard scales.
They looked roughly twice the size of ordinary fish.
Their tails were exceptionally developed, like wooden mallets.
If they had merely been larger than normal fish, or simply looked strange, they naturally would not have caused such panic.
But the problem was that there were far too many of these enormous fish-like creatures that had suddenly appeared in the sea—so many that it was utterly abnormal.

Across the water's surface, dense patches of dark shadows had already emerged beneath the waves, making everyone aboard feel their scalps tingle.
The number of these strange fish was like the ants of the jungle.
There were at least several dozen of them visible amid the waves alone.
Their sharp scales gleamed beneath the sunlight. The strange fish were drawing closer and closer, clearly charging toward the ship at high speed.
Faced with such a massive school of fish approaching the vessel so strangely, Leona naturally could not consider them ordinary creatures. She reacted immediately.
"Switch to Sea Serpent Arrows, all of you!"
"Hard to port! Get out of these waters at once!"
Leona shouted as she directed
