Medivh summoned Suixiang over. Suixiang looked at the Spirit Cat Warrior in delighted surprise and admitted that this was the reason for the Spirit Cat Tribe's decline.

"Lord Medivh, I can communicate with him."

Suixin was also called over. Under Medivh's guidance, she used Voice of the Soul to communicate with the Spirit Cat Warrior.

The Spirit Cat Warrior's spiritual power was not strong enough. He could not speak or overcome the language barrier.

Medivh could issue commands to skeletons through his spiritual and magical connection, but that did not mean he could converse with them.

Mages were not born omniscient and omnipotent. Mastering foreign languages and deciphering spiritual speech both required various spells and potions.

With Medivh's assistance, the Spirit Cat Warrior worked with Suixin to replicate the Spirit Cat Clan Heritage Rune and Cat Clan Combat Technique carried on his body.

"Lord Medivh, only Spirit Cat Warlocks know how to inscribe Inheritance Spirit Runes for warriors."

After obtaining the more complete Inheritance Spirit Rune, Suixiang and Suixin were overjoyed.

But they soon faced an important problem. There were no Warlock Apprentices among them, so no one could help Suixiang complete the Spirit Cat Race's Inheritance Spirit Rune.

Returning to the Spirit Cat Clan was basically impossible. Medivh would not easily let them leave.

Resurrecting a Spirit Cat Warlock was far more difficult than resurrecting a Spirit Cat Warrior. Even after exhausting himself, Medivh still failed.

He realized that resurrecting a Spirit Cat Warlock required at least the spiritual level of a Senior Mage Apprentice.

One failure meant nothing. After reflecting for a while, Medivh calmed himself and began meditating.

Once his spiritual power and mana had recovered, he took out a set of Human Knight skeletal parts and assembled them for resurrection.

This resurrection was equally difficult, but much easier than resurrecting a Spirit Cat Warlock.

Medivh gave it everything he had and completed the resurrection.

It was a Flame Skeleton Knight. The Flame Battle Qi surrounding its body made the air in the Brick Cottage several degrees hotter.

Like the Green Bone Spirit Cat Warrior, the newly resurrected Green Bone Flame Knight stood just one step away from the first rank.

The Flame Skeleton Knight defied convention. Though not yet a First-Rank Knight, it already possessed Battle Qi—and elemental Battle Qi at that.

Knight Breathing Techniques capable of cultivating elemental Battle Qi were high-level inheritances in the present day. Neither the Knight Breathing Techniques Medivh had secretly collected nor the one Audrey cultivated could produce elemental Battle Qi.

Medivh immediately called Suixin over and used Voice of the Soul to replicate the first volume of the Flame Battle Qi Breathing Technique, along with three Flame Battle Qi combat techniques.

This was the power of history. Lost inheritances reappeared through Medivh's skeletons.

It was only the first volume because the original owner of those bones had inherited only the first volume.

Though incomplete, it was enough. The first volume of the Flame Battle Qi Knight Breathing Technique was sufficient to cultivate up to a Third-Rank Knight.

The Knight Breathing Techniques Medivh had acquired in secret could not even cultivate a Second-Rank Knight.

Audrey had inherited only the first section of the first volume of the Newint Family Knight Breathing Technique. Once she reached the first rank, there would be no path forward.

After a brief rest, Medivh selected remains suspected to belong to Spirit Cat Warriors and Human Knights from the warehouse and smelted them into skeletal parts.

Whenever he gathered a complete set of Spirit Cat Warrior or Human Knight skeletal parts, he would meditate, adjust himself to peak condition, and assemble the bones for resurrection.

After a week of continuous high-intensity work, Medivh had gained two more Spirit Cat Warriors and one Skeleton Knight at his side.

The Spirit Runes on the foreheads of those two Spirit Cat Warriors differed slightly from the first Spirit Cat Warrior's Inheritance Spirit Rune, further completing the Spirit Cat Tribe's Inheritance Spirit Rune.

The three Spirit Cat Warriors each excelled in different Cat Clan Combat Techniques, and Suixin recorded all six techniques.

That Skeleton Knight was no different from the previous one. It had inherited the first volume of the Flame Battle Qi Breathing Technique, and its Battle Qi combat techniques were exactly the same as the other one's.

Resurrecting these three Transcendental Skeletons allowed Medivh's spiritual power to cross the threshold. With the feedback from the Spring of Time, he naturally advanced to Senior Mage Apprentice.

Though both were dark green, the Spirit Cat Warlock's skeletal body differed greatly from those of the Spirit Cat Warriors and Skeleton Knights.

The latter were deep green, heavy as iron jade, while the former was deep green, fantastical as crystal jade.

Like Human Mages, Spirit Cat Warlocks were spellcasters.

It had no Cat Tribe Inheritance Spirit Rune on its forehead. Its weapon was a Spirit Cat Bone Staff.

Like other Top-Grade Green Bone Skeletons, the Spirit Cat Warlock was a Transcendent below the threshold of the first rank, just one step short of breaking through.
