Ch. 321Death Was Not the End

Medivh left the Spore Jungle and returned to cultivation while the Spore Queen expanded her influence across two Eighth Rank planes. By February, those planes were engulfed in war, while Medivh continued archaeological work and tomb raids on the White Shell Plane.

  • Fairy Dragon Mengli followed Medivh to High Tower Castle, where she explained that she had stopped using the Fairy Dragon Secret Art because it only worked for the firstborn.
  • After more than half a year, the Spore Queen’s assassinations and schemes had plunged both Eighth Rank planes into unstoppable conflict, while the Spore Jungle spread underground and cultivated Myconids.
  • Medivh established the Goblin Research Institute after the Goblins developed specialized Transcendent abilities and formed a Goblin Servant Army.
  • On the White Shell Plane, the Five Great Kingdoms’ war intensified, and the native duchies that surrendered were dismantled and divided among the Loran City-State and its allies.
  • Medivh continued excavating across Human Federation territory and sent his Tomb Raider Legion to raid enemy tombs for bones.

Ch. 322Blossoming Everywhere

Medivh reviewed the Wrynn Family’s growing skeleton army and expanding cities as he prepared for a possible planar war. The chapter left the family established across more than a dozen planes, with construction continuing in Sam City and other territories.

  • Medivh reviewed the skeleton army, which had grown to more than 54 million Time Skeletons despite heavy losses in six years of planar wars.
  • Medivh’s training efforts raised the number of Sixth-Rank Bone Spirits to eighty-five and Fifth-Rank Bone Spirits to 7,548.
  • The Wrynn Family expanded its cities across multiple planes, while Crimson City grew to its 144th ring and the Fire-Prayer faith spread among the Fire-Praying tribes.
  • The Church of Light advanced its control of Holy Remains City by using Holy Light Skeletons to govern the original necromantic creatures, while the Necrotic Monarch was killed at birth.
  • Sam City reached its thirty-second ring, and eighteen Twenty-Ring Node Cities had been completed on the Sam Plane.

Ch. 323Deep Sea Dragon Palace

Audrey and the other Countesses developed the White Shell Plane’s ocean and brought the Clam-girl Tribe to Medivh, who built them the Deep Sea Dragon Palace. He gathered and trained the Clam-girls, leaving them settled as Dragon Palace Maids.

  • Audrey and the other Countesses built ocean districts linking the Sea Cities and discovered an ocean-dwelling people in the White Shell Ocean.
  • Audrey brought Medivh several Clam-girls, who became maids in the underwater Deep Sea Dragon Palace.
  • Medivh visited the Deep Sea Dragon Palace with Audrey and Hilda, spent his vacation there, and continued tempering his bones.
  • Medivh gathered Clam-girls from across the deep sea, established a Clam-girl Paradise, and compiled a Transcendent Heritage for them.
  • Medivh provided the Clam-girls with cultivation resources, and they began training and eagerly teaching newcomers to serve as Dragon Palace Maids.

Ch. 324The Four Sea Dragon Kings

Medivh helped Veledra establish the Dragon Palace Clan in the White Shell Ocean before joining Spore Queen Luna to lead an expedition into the Gothic Plane. The allied forces crushed an Indigenous Kingdom as the Spore Queen developed a new spore-born race called Myco-men.

  • Veledra founded the Dragon Palace Clan with Medivh as its co-leader and named herself the East Sea Dragon Queen, while Vellona, Dorothy, and Charlotte claimed the other three seas.
  • Luna summoned Medivh to the Sam Plane, where he joined the skeleton army and Mycelium Construct Legion for an expedition into the Gothic Plane.
  • Luna and Medivh sent the Expeditionary Army through the Spore Gate to support the Goblin Kingdom against hostile powers, while restricting the Goblins from breeding with captured enemies.
  • Luna developed Spore Goblins that reproduced from spores and named the new creatures Myco-men, while the Sages of Light Association observed her and Medivh.
  • The Goblin army, skeleton army, and Mycelium Construct Legion destroyed a powerful Indigenous Kingdom, alarming the surrounding powers.

Ch. 325Living History

The Goblin Kingdom and the Spore Jungle defeated the forces that attacked them, then brought the Gothic Plane under their control. The Spore Queen sealed the Xiati Plane while the Wrynn Family prepared to expand its subjects and legions, and Medivh pursued his Living History Project.

  • The Goblin Kingdom used underground attacks, supply ambushes, and coordinated legions to rout the forces besieging it and kill their Transcendents.
  • The Spore Queen led the Goblin Kingdom’s campaign to unify the Gothic Plane, with underground assailants and Spore Parasites helping destroy opposing kingdoms.
  • The Spore Jungle filled the Gothic Plane with Spore Dust and brought nearly all of it under its control, while a few powerful Transcendents continued to resist.
  • The Spore Queen cultivated a Mycelium Carpet across the Plane Barrier to seal the Xiati Plane, while Suixin and Suixiang led Spirit Cat and other affiliated tribes to relocate to the Gothic Plane.
  • The Wrynn Family planned to grow its human and nonhuman subjects into new legions for interplanar wars, while Medivh developed the Living History Project to strengthen his Archaeologist ability.

Ch. 326Fate Does Not Belong to You or Me

The Spore Queen used war-crazed Goblins to plunge the Syndicate Plane into conflict, then conquered it as the exhausted kingdoms fought for supremacy. After the Spore Jungle claimed the plane, Medivh began building its underground network and production facilities.

  • The Spore Queen sent Goblin Spore Parasites and uncontrolled Goblin armies to more than a dozen regions, where their destruction reignited wars among the local factions.
  • The Minotaur Kingdom and three other kingdoms fought for control of the Syndicate Plane, and the Minotaur Kingdom was eliminated first.
  • Fate Warlock Twisted Fate defeated Graves and believed he had won, but a Spore Cloud appeared and Myconids invaded from beyond the plane's barrier.
  • The Spore Jungle overwhelmed the two remaining kingdoms, devoured the surviving combatants, and claimed the Syndicate Plane.
  • Medivh directed the Skeleton Legion to establish a main city and a Twenty-Ring Node branch city, while beginning construction of the Wrynn Dark Tower and the Elemental Energy Pool system.
  • The Spore Jungle spread its underground network and used the plane's energy to grow Sixth-Rank-or-higher Myconids in Spindle Silk Cocoons.

Ch. 327The God-Forged Mecha

Medivh inspected the first-generation God-Forged Mecha developed by the Alchemical Academy of Sciences and ordered five hundred of them. Later, he advanced to Fifth Rank High-level Necromancer, with ample bones from the Spore Queen’s conquests to support his cultivation.

  • Medivh returned to Kurd City, where skeleton researchers presented the first-generation God-Forged Mecha they had developed from Dwarven technology.
  • The researchers demonstrated the ten-meter mecha’s weapons, power system, and sealed Dwarf Weapon Master Skeleton, while outlining more ambitious future designs.
  • Medivh praised the researchers and ordered five hundred God-Forged Mechas from the God-Forged Workshop and Alchemy Workshop.
  • In early April, Medivh’s spiritual power bottleneck loosened, and he advanced to Fifth Rank High-level Necromancer.
  • Medivh reflected on how the Spore Jungle’s conquest of five planes had provided him with far more cultivation resources than his decades fighting alongside the Gevot People.

Ch. 328Luring the Enemy In

Medivh visited Shyvana and their growing dragon offspring before the White Shell Plane war ended in a ceasefire and the Wrynn Family expanded its quiet hold over the ocean. In Zaun City-State, Saruman lured Kuris into a trap, killed him, and watched the Fel Will turn him into a Fel Mage.

  • Medivh visited Shyvana in Flame Dragon City and saw that three of her five eggs were Red Dragons and two were Lava Dragons.
  • Medivh observed the dragons in Flame Dragon City and noted that Sindasa had drawn Adams into the Red Dragons’ hunting circle.
  • The four Indigenous Kingdoms agreed to a ceasefire after more than four years of war, and the Wrynn Family occupied the White Shell Ocean while building its strength.
  • Kuris entered Saruman’s Mage Tower to seize his inheritance and discovered that Saruman had fused with Fel Energy and filled the hall with Fel Tentacles.
  • Saruman strangled Kuris, and the Fel Will revived Kuris as a Fel Mage made from his memories.

Ch. 329Banish Evil

Medivh reached the Seventh Rank and began preparing the Wrynn Family to search for planes, but a Time Skeleton uncovered a Fel cavern beneath the Zaun City-State. The Goddess of Light drove the Fel Will from Medivh, and the Church of Light launched a campaign against the Fel outbreak.

  • Fel Mages corrupted mages and noble knights across Zaun while avoiding ordinary people who might be found by Light Priests.
  • After two and a half years, Medivh reached the Seventh Rank as a Dragonblood Knight and Dragonblood Sorcerer, qualifying the Wrynn Family to launch planar wars.
  • A skeleton from the Skeleton Engineering Team uncovered a cavern beneath the Winter Mountains and was corrupted by Fel Energy, which then attacked Medivh through their soul connection.
  • Archbishop Moana invoked the Goddess of Light's power to drive the Fel Will from Medivh and decreed that evil be banished.
  • The Legion of Light rushed to Zaun, and the Fel Mages detonated their Seeds of Fel, turning many people in the region into Fel Monsters.
  • The Legion of Light surrounded Zaun and used the cavern discovered by the Skeleton Engineering Team to reach and purify the source of the Fel Energy; Medivh reaffirmed his devotion to the Light.

Ch. 330Decisive Disassociation

Medivh joined Archbishop Moana’s Legion of Light with his skeleton forces to fight the Fel corruption, then entered the Fel Space to help establish a safer foothold. The first expeditionary force was trapped, and Moana let Medivh lead a cautious advance against the Fel Energy reclaiming the land.

  • Medivh asked Archbishop Moana to let him join the battle, and she approved his skeleton legion’s participation.
  • Medivh summoned the skeleton forces and Holy Light Skeletons, then prepared to command them personally in the Fel Space while Audrey and the others stayed behind.
  • The Church of Light and the Gewalt Federation’s forces surrounded Fel-corrupted Zaunites as the Mage Association disavowed the Zaun mages blamed for the disaster.
  • Medivh entered the Fel Space with the Legion of Light and found the ground covered in Fel Tentacles that returned after the Holy Light cleansed them.
  • Medivh warned Sage Moana that the army needed secure bases to avoid being surrounded, and she gave him authority to lead the advance.

Ch. 331In the Name of Light

Medivh and the Legion of Light used City of Evil-Purging as a base to cleanse Fel Space, provoking the Fragmented Fel Pan-Consciousness into a major assault. Lux unleashed a divine attack that destroyed the Fel army, then Medivh took the exhausted priestess back to the city to protect her.

  • Medivh's Skeleton Legion built City of Evil-Purging, whose elemental barrier let the Legion of Light recover and advance through Fel Space.
  • The Fragmented Fel Pan-Consciousness gathered Fel Monsters and attacked the city, while Medivh led the Skeleton Legion to intercept them.
  • Medivh protected Lux inside the Bone Golem as she drew on the Goddess of Light's power to prepare her ultimate divine spell.
  • Lux cast Final Spark, annihilating the Fel army and empowering the Light Priests and Skeleton Warriors to pursue the survivors.
  • Sage Moana told Medivh to guard the unconscious Lux, so he brought her to City of Evil-Purging and hid her inside Wrynn Dark Tower's elemental well.

Ch. 332You There? Say Something!

After the Fel Cataclysm, the Church of Light sealed Fel Space and began suppressing it as the Gevot alliance rebuilt Zaun and the Wrynn Family gained a Marquis title and new lands. Medivh remained beside the unconscious Lux, who awoke and embraced him.

  • As the Fel Mages retreated into Fel Space, the Church of Light sealed the remaining Fel Voids and prepared to suppress the realm from City of Evil-Purging.
  • The noble knights brought recovered magical texts to the Church of Light for purification, then divided the safe knowledge and began rebuilding Zaun with the Legion of Light stationed there.
  • The Gevot Noble Council promoted the Wrynn Family to Marquis for exposing the Fel Mages' infiltration plot and gave it a vast domain in the Southwest Cape and Winter Mountains.
  • Medivh's Bone Spirit Substitute negotiated with the Dragons and flying species, while the Skeleton Engineering Team built a city south of the Winter Mountains.
  • Medivh kept watch over the unconscious Lux at City of Evil-Purging until she awoke and wrapped her arms around his neck, prompting him to embrace her and activate the Holy Bone's energy.

Ch. 333Vengeance at Last

Lux returned to the battlefield after sanctification, joining Medivh to repel the Fel Monsters and protect the City of Evil-Purging. Medivh defeated and cleansed Saruman with Lux’s Holy Light, and the victory raised Medivh’s Necromancer rank to the peak of Fifth Rank.

  • Lux woke beside Medivh, thanked him affectionately, and returned with him and Freya to fight the renewed Fel Monster assault.
  • Lux and Medivh worked together with the Legion of Light and the skeleton army to cleanse waves of Fel Monsters.
  • Saruman attacked the City of Evil-Purging, and Medivh recognized him as the enemy who had once controlled him.
  • Saruman consumed his Fel Mages to reclaim his power and transformed into an Eighth Rank Fel Octopus Monster.
  • Lux lent Medivh her power, allowing him to sanctify the Bone Golem and bind Saruman with Holy Light Chains.
  • Medivh dismembered and cleansed Saruman, whose soul vanished as Medivh’s Necromancer rank reached the peak of Fifth Rank.

Ch. 334The Fragrance of Sunshine

Medivh’s Light Myconid alliance helped the Legion of Light push back the Fel forces, and he returned to Kurd City to advance to Sixth-Rank Necromancer. After celebrating with his marchionesses, he set off for Sam Plane to visit Mengli and their hatched offspring.

  • The Light Myconids spread Light Mycelium and Sunshine Mushrooms through Fel Space, helping the Legion of Light and Skeleton Legion advance against the Fel forces.
  • The Light Myconids impressed the Sage of Light, while the Spore Queen adapted Mycelium Constructs with bark-like coverings to make them look like treants.
  • As reinforcements arrived in early May and the Legion of Light pressed forward, Medivh returned to Kurd City to prepare for promotion.
  • Medivh smoothly advanced to Sixth-Rank Necromancer and revived his first Low-Grade Silver Bone Skeleton Mage, gaining ancient magical knowledge.
  • Medivh celebrated with his marchionesses, then departed for Sam Plane to visit Mengli and their hatched dragon offspring.

Ch. 335A Qualitative Leap

Medivh advanced his Bone Spirit to the early Seventh Rank and created twenty-four Red Bone Bone Spirit Substitutes, expanding the Wrynn Family’s forces for the Plane War. After reorganizing their work, he learned that several of his Dragon partners were carrying eggs.

  • Medivh visited Mengli and Luna’s young Dragons, then took Makar to Kurd City and Flame Dragon City to grow up among his family.
  • Medivh spent two and a half months tempering his bones and advanced to the early Seventh Rank, evolving to Low-Grade Red Bone.
  • Medivh nurtured and split off twenty-four Red Bone Bone Spirit Substitutes, then assigned them to produce Holy Light Skeletons and regular Skeletons.
  • Medivh’s eight Yellow Bone Bone Spirit Substitutes strengthened themselves to Red Bone and joined the production effort.
  • Oriana, Veledra, Zyra, and Vellona told Medivh they were carrying Dragon eggs, while Asuna and Katarina also shared good news.

Ch. 336Disaster Brings Opportunity

Medivh learned that the Fel Space beneath Kurd City had been contained and watched the Wrynn Family rise in power after the Zaun disaster. He strengthened ties with the Osman Family through a marriage to Camelia, while the noble mage system began to grow from knowledge taken from the Mage Association.

  • Freya told Medivh that the Fel Space's surface was under control and that the Church of Light planned to contain it in Fel Secret Realms within Block Cities.
  • The Wrynn Family expanded its territory and influence, and Medivh remained hands-off in city-state affairs while building up thirty-two Seventh-Rank Bone Spirit Substitutes.
  • The Wrynn Family joined the Osman bloodline, and Medivh accepted Duke Osman's proposal to marry Camelia.
  • Camelia arrived in North Kurd City, married Medivh, and took the name Camelia Osman Wrynn.
  • At a clan gathering, Duke Osman and the Marquis Families shared magical knowledge, helping the noble mage system flourish and alarming the Esoteric and Academic Schools.

Ch. 337Bone Knight

Medivh developed and spread the Bone-Tempering Cultivation Method, establishing the Bone Knight path and preparing his subjects to cultivate it. As the Wrynn Family welcomed two new children, Oriana reached adulthood and became a Seventh Rank Dragon.

  • Medivh created the Bone-Tempering Cultivation Method and distributed it, including warnings about bone-tempering and the forbidden Blood Soul Bone Refining art.
  • Medivh named the bone-tempering Transcendents Bone Knights, and the Big-Horned Ox beasts at the Kurd City ranch became the first to adopt the method.
  • Medivh invited most of his subjects to cultivate as Bone Knights, while the War Goblins continued their research and the Spore Queen prepared her Spore Goblins for a future plane war.
  • Asuna and Katarina each gave birth to a child for Medivh in April, naming them Yui Osman Loran Hobarton Wrynn and Garen Osman Loran Hobarton Wrynn.
  • Oriana reached adulthood in August, becoming a Seventh Rank Lava Dragon more than fifty meters long.

Ch. 338Lighting a Lantern in the Outhouse

The Iguana Kingdom invaded Crimson City to seize its farmland and food, but Medivh used the attack to test the Wrynn Family’s strength. As the siege turned bloody, the Iguana King sent his strongest warriors into the sky, where Red Bone’s Bone Spirit Substitute confronted the Seventh Rank Transcendents.

  • Hunters reported Crimson City’s expansion to the Iguana King, who ordered most of his standing army to invade and capture the desert city.
  • Medivh detected the approaching army and mobilized the Wrynn Family’s forces to defend Crimson City and gain experience for a future planar war.
  • Audrey used a City Defense Giant Crossbow to kill the commander of the Iguana Cavalry as it searched for weaknesses in the walls.
  • The Iguana King ordered attacks on several fronts, while Crimson City’s defenders controlled their fire and inflicted heavy casualties to draw the invaders onward.
  • The Iguana King and his powerful warriors took to the sky to challenge Crimson City’s top fighters, and Red Bone’s Bone Spirit Substitute confronted the kingdom’s Seventh Rank Transcendents.

Ch. 339Don't Make Me Lose My Temper

Medivh and Crimson City defeated the Iguana Kingdom, killed its Seventh-Rank Transcendents, and annexed its territory. After Medivh confirmed that the Crimson Kingdom belonged to the Wrynn Family, Odyssey City-State’s nobles planned their next campaign and the division of the Gamma Plane.

  • The Iguana Kingdom’s forces attacked Crimson City, hoping to capture Oriana and Nomxi and restore their Dragonblood ancestry.
  • Medivh unleashed Crimson City’s artillery and troops, routing the Iguana army and killing its Seventh-Rank Transcendents.
  • Crimson City conquered and annexed the Iguana Kingdom over two and a half months, then continued developing instead of advancing into the Crimson Plateau.
  • Survivors spread news of the Crimson Kingdom, and Odyssey’s nobles suspected it was secretly founded by the Wrynn Family.
  • Medivh admitted to the Noble Council that the Crimson Kingdom belonged to the Wrynn Family, and the Marquises discussed dividing the Gamma Plane.
  • The Wrynn Family planned to attack the Gnoll Kingdom while Odyssey City-State’s allied forces prepared to destroy the Porcupine Kingdom.

Ch. 340Who Gave You the Courage

Medivh began the war against the Gnoll Kingdom as the Odyssey City-State Allied Forces attacked the Porcupine Kingdom. Blue Bay City's skeleton army crushed Gnoll forces and killed three Seventh Rank champions, while the Gnoll King turned to meet the Crimson Kingdom's invasion.

  • Medivh raised twenty-six Black Bone Rock Bone Dragons and brought them to the Gamma Plane to prepare for war.
  • After the Odyssey City-State Allied Forces finished assembling, Medivh ordered Blue Bay City's artillery to attack Gnoll encampments, and the allied forces advanced on the Porcupine Kingdom.
  • Blue Bay City's skeleton army destroyed the Gnoll border army and pushed into the kingdom, prompting the Gnoll King to lead an expedition against it.
  • The Gnoll King learned that the Crimson Kingdom's army had descended from the mountains, so he sent troops to confront Blue Bay City's skeletons and led the rest to reinforce the threatened front.
  • The skeleton army overwhelmed the Gnoll forces and killed three Seventh Rank Gnoll Pillars of the State, news that reached the Gnoll King before he arrived.
